Tu Moda Spa for Beauty and Wellness in Worcester, MA

I scheduled a 90 minute spa massage approximately 3 weeks in advance. An hour before my appointment, a girl called and said the masseuse could only accommodate a 60 minute and did I still want to come. I had been looking forward to this appointment so I said yes. The girl sighed and said ok, we'll see you in an hour. After receiving the service, which was lovely, I realized why stone massages should be 90 minutes and not 60. It was nice and the masseuse was wonderful but I do feel a more complete experience was taken from me. The massage as a whole felt rushed and shortened. I have scheduled another massage but only 60 minutes as I don't want to have them cancel me again.

I never leave yelp reviews but to be honest with you I'm just annoyed. I've gone here for years but they have gone downhill for sure. I decently had a bad experience with a massage and I reached out to them via the contact form on their website, and got no response. this also happened once in the past when I reached out this way. how unprofessional?

Will never go back again. Awful foil job, took over 3 hours, she had no time left for cut and style. This place has gone downhill. Would not recommend.

Spectacularly luxurious facility. As a gentleman, I'm very particular about where I go for a massage. This is my favorite place. The employees are all very nice and professional.

I have used various services from Tumoda over the years and have been very pleased. There have been recent changes to how Tumoda does business. In addition to their employees, they will now be offering the ability for stylists to rent chairs, Because of this, They have redesigned the area to accommodate the stylists who will be renting. Employees who provide hair services have been re-located to the front of the salon where you check in. Everyone is lined up against the wall, side by side and very close together. Wash basins are close to the check in area, and the waiting area is close to the door. Also, this also the area where they have all their haircare products. I did not feel comfortable in that space. I had a hair service: color, cut, and style. I was done in under an hour, It felt rushed; and did not get the usual experience or care that Tumoda has offered and been known for in the past. It was very disappointing. Although I may try other services there. I will probably not return for any hair care services.
