Put in a last minute appointment today to fix my severely dry, damaged and color treated hair as they were just about to close for the day and they were so kind as to squeeze me in.
So first of all, I'm grateful for fitting me in. I am not usually the kind of person to walk in as a place is shutting down but I had this sort of emotional limit today where I just couldn't wait anymore after half a year to do something about this.
I have been having a fam member practice on my hair and it went really badly last time with my hair literally melting off my scalp so they fixed my hair to look more put together. No pics for obvious reasons so here are a couple of my daughter being spoiled by their staff. She was having a hard time with her mom's long locks getting cut off and they gave her a bow to pick out and added glitter to her hair. Oh and lollipops. Plenty of lollipops. It was a much needed relief today.

Great local place for haircuts. Stylists are super nice and knowledgeable. They have reasonable prices for everything and not pushy about buying merchandise. They take walk-ins but it can be more convenient if you make an appointment ahead of time. They have Groupons for this place if you want to give them a try.
Great place for men's haircut. I switched to here a few years ago and honestly can save I've always had a great experience and great haircut. Everyone is very friendly and they keep everything very clean.
Amazing!! Thank you Freddy for everything. She took my STUBBORN hot roots (bright orange/florescent orange roots) from a bad (at home) dye job and gave me the most beautiful brown ash tone, straight out of my dreams. I tried home remedies galore, but nothing compares to a professional touch. She eliminated my orange and gave me the most gorgeous soft shag hair-cut I have ever had in my life. I will be a lifelong customer of Freddy's. If you have not been to Tocco, go now!! Professional and loveable stylist that will keep you happy and laughing. I'm a life long customer for sure after my first visit.
I've been coming to Tocco since moving to Winston-Salem back in March. They're friendly, professional, reasonably priced, and have thoughtful business hours for any day of the week. Several different folks have cut my hair, and I'd highly recommend any of them. Special thanks to Emily, who's been cutting my hair recently and doing a fabulous job. I enjoy everyone there, but will try to stick with her for consistency.
It can be really hard finding a good salon that feels like home, especially coming from out of state, and doubly so being a guy. The folks at Tocco did exactly that from day one, and I can't express how much I appreciate that. If I could give 10 stars, I would!
