I was a walk in and asked for a pedicure, the place was dead and there were only 3 nail technicians there. When I said I would like a pedicure, I stuttered really badly and all three women working there laughed loudly and mocked me. I have struggled with my speech my whole life, and to be made fun of by 3 grown women is a terrible thing. Avoid this place like the plague.
New owners are telling the nail technician to charge more, this is what one of the nail technician discussed with me. They also don't clean the their nail equipment to do our nails. Be very careful this tries to charge more than it's supposed to be.
I went to this place because on FB they have great reviews. I would not recommend this place!!!!! I wanted a full french set with gel and the lady had no clue what I was talking about. I had to explain to her multiple times what I wanted then finally the one other employee there came over and said something to her (no clue what) but she still didn't get it. That should have been my clue to walk out, but I was giving it a try and thought maybe she was new. Then she kept saying she's giving me a manicure and doing my nails like hers (just painted). Finally she did what I wanted and the end product isn't horrible but none of the nails are even and they could be better. It was more like she wanted to do what she wanted to do to my nails instead of what I was asking for. The place was not clean either. I will not be going back ever.
Owner's are great! I get pink and white gel nails. I have gone to many other nail salons in Lancaster and this one does a great job! Great prices too!
Debated about giving this place a 2 or a 3. It's a great place to get a quick spur of the moment pedicure. Nancy & the owner can speak English pretty well & try to be accomadating (we asked them to squeeze 3 pedicures in the last 1 1/2 that they were opened on a Sunday & they were the only 2 operators on) You sit in a massaging chair during the whole pedicure & they do a nice job. Plus, for almost an hour's work, it's only $25. (please tip them well) * tips cannot be charged, so bring enough cash
