I treated myself to the Volcano Luxury pedicure. Delightful experience. It was my first time here since we are from out of town. I always look to see if a place is clean and the instruments are sterilized. This was! The different mask, cream, bubbly fragrant waters, and the pedicure were delightful and smelled so good. The extra 15 minutes of massage was heavenly as I am recovering from knee surgery. I came away with a beautiful experience. Next time we are in Palm Desert I will definitely use this salon.

They always do such a great job here, it doesn't matter who does my nails because everyone that works here is exceptional. What I love the most is that they honor appointment times. A lot of salons just tell you yes come in now and then have you wait when you get there because someone else walked in before you, which defeats the purpose of an appointment. The staff are friendly and they take their time.

2 stars because Kim does an amazing pedicure and Randy is very pleasant and does a great job at Builder Gel. Randy was off today so Ann did my nails today. I waited and waited. Got a pedicure while I waited... then I waited another 30 min while my cousin got her nails done I watched. Finally when Ann got to me I asked for pink and white ombré. They initially were long enough but she filed them too short. I was satisfied enough with them when I left. I was exhausted and thirsty! I had been there for 2 hours and was ready to leave. No one offered any water in the 2 hours I was there. I paid in cash as demanded by Ann and left her 25% tip. $120 for the nails! They have a ATM in the salon and they ask the customers to use it! Of course there is a fee to withdraw cash! At dinner I noticed my nails were not very glossy. Since I paid so much for my nails I wanted to love them so I decided to stop by the nail salon after dinner and ask Ann to please apply another coat of clear polish to make them glossy. I expressed to Ann that they were pretty but I wanted them to be more glossy and another coat of clear would be awesome. Ann repeatedly stated to me that they indeed were glossy enough and I was not seeing correctly. She told me to show my nails to her associate Kim and that "Kim will tell you they are glossy!" I was pretty appalled and in disbelief. I got up and said thank you and left. I will NEVER be back again. It is a shame she lost a customer simply because of her poor customer service. If she simply would have applied some clear polish on my nails I would have been happy and I would have been a loyal customer! I recently moved back to the desert from Temecula area and looking for a new nail salon to give my business to. I get a Gel pedicure twice a month and a Gel Manicure 2-3 times per month. I am a specialty RN and my nails need to be nice at all times. It is too bad this establishment did not value me as a customer. I hope whoever reads this will see that Ann does not value a customer's satisfaction with their overall service and simply allows them to walk out. Karma is real and I know she will pay her a visit when it's time. I used to be Yelp Elite for 3 years but I have been working VERY hard the past 2 years in my new specialty job that is very demanding and I am not able to go out as much as I used to. This review comes from a Yelp Elite member that has extensive training in service excellence management from Disney. I have a genuine spirit to serve and it's a shame to see employees mistreat customers like this especially when it comes from the owner of the establishment. Shame on you.
