Tina Nails in Jefferson City, MO

I will never be back. I'm bleeding on three nails from aggressive filing. I continued to tell him that I had crooked nails and said they would be fixed when filing (they weren't), I ended up just having him cut them down so I would not notice as much.
I also asked for ballerina which, as you can tell, they are not.
It was a painful experience and the worst I've experienced in the 10 years I've been getting my nails done
Even my boyfriend the first time he looked at my hands said "your hand look weird"
I give two stars because my pedicure was a nice experience.

Hue (I hope I spelled that right lol) did an amazing job on my pedicure and my mani! I got the ice dancer Pedi and I lasted about an hour! Then she talked me into a mani while I waited on my husband. I got gel French tips and she did a beautiful job and took her time making all of the nails and tips uniform and perfect. And she was such a joy to talk to the entire time. So thank you for being a part of making my day great!

So I only went to Tina's nails because they were the only shop without a wait list on a Friday night (Red flag)! The good: The staff was very friendly & they treated me like I was very welcome. Now the bad: The nails were done terrible! The nail tech applied most of them crooked. The paint was so lumpy and it looks like a 2 year old did it. If it wasn't for the friendly staff I'd give this place 1 star.

I sent my granddaughter to Tina Nails to get her nails done. She specifically asked them how much it would cost before the lady began work on her nails and was told it was $25.00.  After she finished her nails she then demanded $35.00.  This nail salon is dishonest and does sloppy work.  I don't recommend that anyone go to Tina's Nails!

To the woman who was denied service at Tina Nails in Jefferson City, mo.  I am sorry.  You came in with your young daughter wanting each of your nails done.  As I sat there next to my mom who's nails were finished, I watched as the workers refused to serve you.  First they said they couldn't paint your daughter's nails because she was too young.  Then when you asked for a full set, they refused to serve you.  I am amazed at your gracious response to what I can only imagine, hurt you deeply.  As the man finished my nails, I asked him, "You are open another hour and a half and no one else is here.  Can't you do her's?"  He refused.  He kept acting like he didn't understand you, but my mom and I explained clearly to him what you were wanting (even though you were already being very clear).

I had not set an appointment and neither did my mom.  The only difference between you and me is our skin color.  You referenced a previous time when you had gone in to Tina's nails and were refused service.  From what I gathered you left hoping it was because they were closing early and not because of your skin color.  Unfortunately, tonight we all learned the truth of this establishment.  They refused to serve you because you are black.  I will never return.  I am so sorry you were treated that way.  I hope you know that that is not all of Jefferson City.  I also want to say how amazed I am at your grace and kindness towards someone who was treating you so unfairly.  You never said an unkind word, you never raised your voice, and when you left you said, "bless you."  May God's blessings be upon you and thank you for your example of strength and grace.
