A regular manicure typically involves nail shaping, cuticle care, and the application of nail polish, which can last up to a week. A gel manicure involves similar steps but uses a gel-based polish and UV light to cure the polish, resulting in a more durable finish that can last up to two weeks without chipping.

I've been a customer of Nail's 1st for over two years now. I was just charged $66.00 for a fill!!!! I have short, squared nails, one color. The only modification I asked for was a matte finish...which adds $5.00, no problem. I just called and asked what a NEW set of acrylics cost and was told $50. I then asked about the price of a fill and was quoted $45. I realize it's $21.00 but this is the 2nd time they've played me, and thats a bit excessive if you ask me. Seems like they pick and choose who they over charge. They treat me like I'm new every time I'm in there, which is beyond annoying.
If your black just make sure to make an appointment. Even though I was at the shop first they helped THREE people before me. All because I'm doing nails and a pedicure. I just want to know the difference between my nail set. And the customers that were there after me. A couple getting pedicures and a girl her nails done. Just make sure you make an appointment if you are black and going here or you will linger around while they get all their white customers in and out. If I could choose a 0 I would. After an hour and a half of waiting they said I could come back if I was in a rush. If I was in a rush I wouldn't have waited an hour and a half just for you to keep me lingering around. Be cautious before coming here
Went for a fill. Had my nails recently done in Columbia and I loved them!!! But I'm not going to Columbia so I need to find a place closer to home. Based on reviews I went here. Now I had a pedicure here before that I wasn't thrilled with but it wasn't awful. Not either way enough for me to leave a review. But getting a fill was terrible. I absolutely will NOT be back.
1. Not greeted at all. (Next person greeted three times to the point they were annoyed)
2. Tech did NOT remove my existing polish well and complained asked me what kind of polish. OPI, dude OPI it's not some rando polish I got on wish or Walmart. It shouldn't be hard to get OPI off.
3. I mentioned the color I wanted was very light and I was concerned about it showing through he insisted it was fine.
4. I went in with long almond shaped nails and he asked me if I wanted to have them cut down and I told him a tiny bit tiny bit. He took off half the nail. And then he goes is this good. No but it's too late now you just took half the nail off.
5. It's not fine I can see it through on several nails and there was some kind of lint that settled on one nail he didn't want to be bothered with fixing.
6. $37 for a mediocre fill is not ok.
7. Cut me 3 times
Not welcoming, not friendly, Not professional, TERRIBLE job and he KNEW I wasn't happy he just didn't care. The girl next to me had STELLAR nails so I don't know what the glitch is here. I can't say I think it's personal as I've never been in there and I'm pretty basic.
Found this shop here on yelp, best set of nails o think I've ever had. I am two weeks in and not one bad started popping up or getting weird. I came early so there wasn't a wait but it got busy fast and people were waiting about 30 minutes. I definitely recommend this place. If I lived in Joplin this would be my go-to.
Sunny did an amazing job making my acrylics look completely natural. I LOVE them. I like my nails short, but my natural nails are so thin and they peel easily. These nails are PERFECT. I couldn't ask for better.
