TIJERAS LATINA "BEAUTY SALON" in Newark, NJ

Took my wife there and they made her wait forever. She had an appointment and they began her hair by shampooing and wetting her hair and they left her sitting in the chair for aboit's in the chair for about 45 minutes while they tended to another person. My wife was very annoyed but did not say anything. She has been to many other beauty so long that focus on just the person they're caring for. It's just basic common sense with any business if any business attend and focus your work on what you're doing with one person and avoid multitasking Is just to make more money.

The ladies here are nice but not very attentive. They always take on 2-3 customers at a time making people sit in the chair all day long. The one young girl will be in the middle of doing someone's hair and just takes off leaving the salon. I don't understand how she's allowed to do that. Their prices are fair but you don't always get what you ask for or pay for. I asked for a keratin treatment & I never got it. I've gotten them several times before and they didn't use the correct methods. My hair also didn't have the same effect as I've gotten in other salons. Their good for cuts and mediocre for color but I'd suggest not going there for anything else.

Awful, went in to cut my ends and she left my hair all scaly up and down not even straight or v cut which i asked for and was done in literally 10 minutes... And let me not even mention my bangs.... DO NOT RECOMMEND... don't waste your money or time

The older main woman ruined my hair. She left bleach in my hair much longer than necessary and now it is thin and feels like straw. I asked for hilights with a brown she base color. I ended up with a brassy orange on top and bleach yellow on the bottom. There's also blue streaks from the toner that I did not ask for. Absolutely no hilights though. It looks awful. My hair would have probably turned out better if she could have concentrated on my hair instead of running between myself and two other clients who got there TWO hours after I did. Horrible service and work. Y para que entiendan en español, no gastes tu dinero y tiempo en este sitio donde me malograron mi cabello. La dueña estaba con dos otras clientes que entraron dos oras después que yo. Terminó dejándome bleach en el pelo por un largo tiempo. Termine con colores que no pedí, partes azules que supongo son del toner que uso. Me dejó el cabello completamente seco, sin brillo y parece grama para caballos. Me jodio el pelo para ser honesta.

I've been coming to this salon for years! They are the absolute best in the area and are reasonable in price! They're also open on Sundays which is definitely a bonus!!
