Tiare Nail Spa in Rochester, NH

I've been here quite a few times because of the convenience of its location. I've walked out after waiting over an hour for said appointment time. And waited 35 minutes another time so don't bother with appointments. I will say the pedicures I've received have been great but any gel nail services I've had have been awful. I'm pretty sure I've had the owner in the back table 7 twice and he rushes and is sloppy. My nails look horrible right now, all uneven on the surface. Won't be going back, have this place more than enough chances.

I go here regularly for a dip and design by Tracy and they are a great salon. They do get busy, so just be patient as they are worth it! Tracy always does a beautiful job on my nails and is kind and friendly and makes you feel welcome. Also had the occasional pedicure as a treat and would also recommend.

I am missing a knuckle on my right hand ring finger, which makes that finger shorter than the rest. I am very used to people being curious, and even a little weirded out, as I know it's not a common thing to see, however the fact that the woman doing my nails made fun of and laughed at my hand every single time she did something on that particular nail was a bit much. I was embarrassed enough at that but willing to let it go, again I know it's not something people would be used to seeing. However, after she was done with my nails she got up and started speaking to another employee; whilst I couldn't understand most of their conversation I could clearly hear her say "baby finger" while looking in my direction and then the two of them burst out laughing.
I went back one more time because she did do a great job with my nails, but this time I had a different young lady as my nail tech. About halfway through my appointment, the original lady who did my nails came out of the back, spotted me and walked over to point out my "baby finger" to my new nail tech. I'm thankful that the new tech barely responded, just smiled and kept on doing my nails whereas the women again burst out laughing. I'm all for some light teasing, but I felt this was a little over the line.  

Two stars because my nails did look nice, but overall I left feeling pretty lousy.

Huge Disappointment - my friend booked 6 weeks in advance for us both to get a pedicure together.  Arrived for appointment, waited 40 minutes in the chair before we asked the manger how much longer.  We were told 10 minutes.  My friends nail tech started her pedicure 50 minutes late as I continued to wait.  Still waiting over and hour I told them I wasn't going to get my pedicure any longer as my friend was halfway done with hers and no other technicians were available.  While my friend was waiting for her toes to dry the manager looked at her and started to laugh.  She called him out and said this isn't funny.  We had a scheduled appointment & this is not how you run a business.  They took a few other people while we were waiting instead.  My friend had the deluxe pedicure and everything was rushed.  Total time was 24 mins,  No relaxing pedicure at this location!!  Waste of $45!!
Not a good first impression for first time visitors.  WE WILL NOT RETURN!! SAVE YOURSELF THE TROUBLE AND GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.

I moved to Rochester in January. Tried a few nail salons and finally found this salon. My search us over. Ben is fantastic at his craft. No painful cuticles and no need to "fix" anything after. Not doing a walk-in any more, making appointments with Ben to be sure.
