The Ultimate Salon & Spa in La Crosse, WI

Sierra and Skye are fantastic and the salon is such a cozy place. As someone who really does not like to leave my house I appreciate this place for it's comforting setting. I am coming in again today to get my waxing needs met. I have definitely found a new salon with a great staff. Thank you ladies :-)

By far the best salon in the area - Miss Hayley and Miss Christina are amazing! I have three daughters and I'm never taking them anywhere else again. The staff is super-professional (even with kids) and always manage to get us in at a time when they can do all three at once, and they usually have the same stylist - definitely a plus. I've tried most Aveda places in the area, and Ultimate Salon is the most reasonably-priced, as well as friendly and knowledgeable. They also have the better "booster" seats for small children - the ones that go across the arms of the chair - way better (and probably safer) than the booster seats like you see at most other places. It's nice not to be constantly hounded by someone up front trying to sell me a ton of hair products I wasn't planning on already purchasing. Sometimes, when you show up with three kids, they try to get you in and out as fast as possible, but all three girls got a nice shampoo and conditioner prior to the cut, and then a nice blow-dry and really awesome braids - which I'm terrible at. Scarlett (my youngest) now has an Elsa braid, and her twin sisters have two braids each in different styles and they're thrilled! And where else can you get gourmet organic lollipops?

A great and relaxing place! I've only been there for haircuts with Sabrina so far and she is awesome! She seems to understand exactly what I am looking for. They start you off with either a hand or head massage. You never feel rushed, they always take their time with each person. Everyone seems friendly!

Great experience. Stylist talked to me before hand and discussed exactly what I wanted. I was first offered a beverage, then got a short backrub and scalp massage, hair washed/conditioned, and great haircut for just $18. I've been to a few aveda salons and this was the best priced, but still lived up to the reputation. Overall great job and will return for every haircut I need.

Had a wedding party go here, NOT a good experience. We were TWO hours late to the church. Nobody wanted to admit they didn't know what they were doing. The bride's hair was the worse, they had to wash it out three times not because the bride was being a bridzilla but because it looked TERRIBLE! She left after being soo late and went back home cried and washed it out and had to do it herself which ended up being 10 times more beautiful then what they could do! My hair was squeezed in by another girl and was thrown up in 10 min and cost me $40!! Called to see if ONLY the bride could get reimbursed but the owner said nothing she could do, the service was done. Not even a gift cert. So they won't be getting our service anymore and hopefully we can direct others elsewhere!
