The SALON by InStyle Inside JCPenney in Chesapeake, VA

JCPenny hasn't changed much in my opinion, you can shop with ease and everything is in neat arrangements! I would definitely return to shop again.

This was a great shopping experience. The clerk where very helpful and polite. So many sales and new items for the home and family. The are nos selling washers and dryer.. Major appliances which is different for J C Pennys., i lo ve shopping forma the quality items that are sold.

It's hit or miss when you come here. Over the years this store and management has changed drastically. This used to be the store to go to for all your home needs and their catalog...I don't even think it exists anymore. Nevertheless, you can find some good deals here. Especially during the holiday season. This store usually opens before the mall and by doing so, they draw in a light crowd in early to get you all to catch the early bird deals. While this store isn't as popular as before, if you are looking for an item you may just find it here rather than heading to other locations in the area. I am not sure how long this store will last, but they are still holding on. Here you can find items for everyone in your family. If you have the Retail me Not app, they usually feature at least one coupon for JCPenny. But if you are looking for: clothing for all, shoes for all, undergarments for all, home items come here to browse and possibly buy...but have a coupon handy. However, I cannot recall if I have seen perfume sold here. Recently, the store has been opening up early and handing our coupons: $10 off of $10 - $100 off of $100. It is just a matter of getting the right card...a lottery if you will. However, you only get one per person. Personally I visited the store and shopped for an hour, and the lady handing out the coupons, it seemed as though the stack of coupons in her hand was not getting lower. As a result, I'm thinking...just hand them out. I was low key stalking her... The low attendance at the location...the least the could do is target the shoppers that are ACTUALLY in the store shopping, not hoping others show. Oh well - go at your own risk. But this store is located inside of Chesapeake Square Mall. Other stores here: Target, Rack Room Shoes, Burlington, Journeys etc. department stores...just JCP. It's a great day to have a great day!

If I could give no stars I would! One would think,being this close to Christmas, this store would be properly staffed. Instead I waited in line with all of my stuff for 45 minutes. My husband went to ask where all the checkout cashiers were the person said "around". After an hour of waiting we put our stuff back and went to another store that was properly staffed and wanted and appreciated our business.

I don't shop here often. I use the portrait studio and will then walk through. The prices seem ok, but we don't buy much from here. Staff is ok enough. I don't know why, but I just don't get excited about this place. Around the holidays they shove as much as they can in the aisles and it's hard to maneuver. I've found the rest of the year the areas are half empty in the household goods area. It's one of those places I come to last when looking for something.
