The Parlour RiNo in Denver, CO

Despite the hairdresser's skill in delivering a okay result, her attitude was extremely disappointing. The experience was marred by rudeness and condescension. This has left a lasting negative impression, and I will not be going back.

Because my usual hair stylist was no longer at the salon I've frequented for the past several years, I was on the nerve-racking search for someone and somewhere new. Living in RiNo, I wanted to support a local business. The Parlour seemed to have great reviews on Yelp, it's super cute on the inside, and I love a bunch of other spots in the little plaza it's located in. Lots of positives.

Parking can be a challenge as usual in this neighborhood. Coming from the other side of town, I was running a little late, so I called to give them a heads up. Totally understood if they needed to charge me a cancellation fee, but I'm grateful that Lindsay accommodated me. She was absolutely wonderful and engaging, and I love the cleaned-up hairstyle she gave me.

The only thing that ruined my experience was the passive aggressive person working at the front desk that kept making snide remarks to Lindsay about how I set her behind schedule and other customers were waiting on me. Wtf I was literally sitting within earshot. That hostile attitude might be enough to make me never come back again and keep exploring my options, but we'll see how I feel by the time I'm ready for another cut.

Wowza this place was amazing! The atmosphere, the drink options while I'm waiting, and the friendly staff were already on par, but my stylist was the cherry on top! I was a loyal customer to my previous stylist at a different salon, but she ended up pursuing her dream career and sadly had to leave, which made me happy/sad because I'd be going to her since I moved here 4 years ago, but Addie made me feel like she'd been my girl for that entire time! She was so sweet, funny, a great listener, and an AMAZING stylist! She asked a bunch of questions and nailed exactly what I was wanting, and brought my curls back to life. I almost cried because I was so happy with the result. Not to mention that she made the hour+ long appointment feel painless. I always get anxious going to a new person because I feel awkward or too chatty and I get nervous that our conversation is forced or that I'm too much, but she made me feel like a close friend. I'm so so so excited to get my hair done by her again, she is amazing!!

So thankful for Sarah!! It can be hard to find someone that you like & trust to work with blonde hair, but she is absolutely amazing. Always leave the salon happy & satisfied. She does such a great job!!! Cannot say enough great things.

Just moved to Denver and was nervous about finding the right person to do my super thin, scraggly hair. Decided to take a chance and booked someone who had availability at The Parlour RiNo. Turns out luck was with me because Sarah did an amazing job on my hair and she is a completely wonderful person!  All of the staff at the salon were super friendly and helpful. I highly recommend both Sarah O'Brien and the entire staff at The Parlour RiNo.
