Fuss Hair Studio in Denver, CO

I have been a client of Steve's for years now, thanks to a recommendation from a friend, and will follow him wherever he goes!  Steve always knows what will and will not work with my hair type.  He's a stylist that takes the time to help you figure out what to do with your hair when you have no idea what you should do.  He always has ideas that he can execute beautifully.  Steve is also really fun and easy to talk to and the time I spend getting my hair done always goes quickly.  I wouldn't let anyone else color or cut my hair!

Customer Service sucks.

Liz Buchanan, the owner/appointment setter has a very poor attitude. Via text, I scheduled an appointment for 2:15pm, later the same day. When I arrived, I learned that Liz made a mistake a scheduled me for a week later. I never received an apology. She even forbade me from getting a cut, despite the on-duty stylist said he would squeeze me in, if I could wait. And, I could. But, Liz wasn't having it. She told me to leave or she'd called the police.

I had my first cut here with Cassie and waited 3 days after to write this review. My hair is wavy and usually goes flat after the first post-hair cut wash.
After washing my hair, it still looked great. Cassie nailed it. My hair looks great straight and wavy which I have never had.

The salon is airy and open and very clean. Cassie was easy to talk to and understood both my hair type and the look/effect I was going for. Compared to other salons, they are also very reasonably priced.

Ciria is a miracle worker! I have deceptively thick hair that always requires a tonnn of layering and thinning to make it look airy, wispy, and ethereal. Otherwise, my layers just end up looking blunt and choppy like they were cut with dull kitchen scissors. Ciria is a genius. I showed up with choppy, unblended layers and brassy highlights, and left with seamlessly blended layers and beautiful rich chestnut color that still has dimension. In addition to being a master of cut and color, Ciria is also just a lovely human who made me feel immediately welcome and is easy to talk to. I seriously can't stop looking at my hair. It's exactly what I wanted. Ciria is the best!

Answered my call late in the evening and got me in the next day! Elizabeth listened to what I said I wanted and gave me a 5 star cut that continues to elicit compliments. I highly recommend and look forward to returning because of high quality customer service and technical skill, and friendliness!
