I've been here twice for pedicures, used their online booking and scheduled with a person who I don't think exists. She's clearly not in the room when I arrive.
Today, I was there for 90 minutes for a pedicure. I was upgraded from a basic pedi to a deluxe without asking, and very disappointed with the quality of work. I was scheduled for mani/pedi, but after 90 minutes I had enough and didn't think it would be worth the time or money to point out their error.
I gave them two chances and won't be returning. Think twice before spending your money here.
Drove to the address, and didn't see in my haste, that this place is in a nail salon with a totally different name. There is a sign just above the door, which I did not see my first drive by. I accidentally put in 45 Lafayette rd, and my phone took me to Hampton not north Hampton--so I drove 10 minutes south thinking the address was just wrong maybe. Nope. Although, this is mostly my fault, I still give a bad review because during all of this I called 3x to try to reach someone who could have easily had let me know they were in the place with the other sign. I can not give an actual review on the new place, because after driving back to the other place saw the sign above the door saying it was now Mia's nail salon, I had been driving for 30 mins.
I give them 2 stars only because the scheduling was easy, and I got a lot of text messages reminding me of the appointment. Sadly, if someone had just answered the phone to let me know they were in the nail garden, I would've been there on time.
I am new to Hampton and have tried a few nail salons. Mia Nails Spa was amazing. Clean, great attention to detail, beautiful job. I had a gel manicure which is holding up so well and the color is fantastic. The prices were excellent too. I did not have an appointment, they took me quickly- and showed me a lovely array of colors to choose. The staff were friendly and professional.
