The Nail Room in Wilmington, NC

After driving 45 minutes to be told my appointment was cancelled. Not cool. No respect of others time

So unprofessional!! I made an appointment for 3:30 but they never attended me. I went to the bathroom for like 1 minute and they attended another girl when i was specifically supposed to go after my sister, I was getting impatient so i left. do not recommend if you want to be there for a long time.

I always walk out with beautiful nails! The family that owns this place are so kind and wonderful people. I always feel welcomed and it's very relaxing. This is definitely the place to go for perfect acrylic nail sets.

HORRIBLE! WASTE OF $100 & 4.5 hours of my life.  Went there b/c Kha was doing AMAZING nails on my friends, and unfortunately for me, I did not get him. There are soooo many details to this whole experience. The first set was okay. Somewhat close to what I wanted & had in mind. Within 2 days it peeled off like a bandaid. So I called. I went for a free fix. They (my nails) got worse. I wish the pictures showed the THICKNESS.  They were like marbles..I tried my best to communicate how to remedy the problem BUT it fell on deaf ears.. .It goes on from there.  I won't bore you  anymore with this nail catastrophe. I hate to condemn and/or leave bad reviews for a small, privately owned business,  BUT, if you go go there, ASK FOR KHA ! Unfortunately I will never get to experience his talents that I see my friends receive, because that would be akward after this crappy review.. #disappointed & sad

When we first moved to the area four years ago we were located in Ogden and I was happy to find, what was then, Lisa's. I found their place clean and relaxing and never had a problem with both service or quality. It was also nice that they charged $32 for a basic mani pedi, while other places were $38 or more.

After we moved to leland I continued to patronize Lisa's for more than two years and in fact referred several friends. Then of course the pandemic hit and for over a year I was a diy gal. Once we got the green light I decided to go back and was looking forward to the experience.

Unfortunately more than their name
has changed, and not for the better. I don't get my back cuticles cut, but I do get the sides done. The tech who did my nails not only didn't address them, but didn't understand when I tried to repeatedly explain. He was a young man who clearly had no English whatsoever and not a lot of expertise. As a business owner, I get that you want to keep your employees busy, but having someone like that do someone's nails while more experienced techs are available is a mistake.

Additionally, they've raised their prices considerably. Since it now costs $42 for a mani pedi and the service has gotten worse, I will no longer be making the trip to wilmington.

If you're local and have one of the experienced techs do your nails, I'd say this place is as good as any and perhaps better than most even. But it's no longer my go to.
