The House Of Beauty in Somerdale, NJ

I called and was told the price for a simple haircut is $35.00 When I arrived I was pressured into looking at photos by a very abrasive woman. As we walked to the shampoo area she said something about alacarte and washed my hair. She is the same gruff unfriendly manner called me to the desk and said my bill was $75.00 I paid and left. I have pictures of every wall visible and no price menus nothing. Just like that a shampoo cost me $40.00. I then got a receipt for Devacurls for $40.00 I filed with every office of the state and now I am filing fraud. because this is what it is. FRAUD

I went to House of Beauty back in June and booked with Courtney and it was amazing. I decided to book with them again at the end of August and the stylist, Danielle canceled on me 3 hours before my appointment. I understand that things come up, so I decided to give them a second chance, which was a mistake. I got to my appointment at 10:30 (on time) and my stylist was 30 minutes late. After waiting for a half hour, my hair was absolutely rushed through. She said she "works fast", but there's a difference between working quickly and working efficiently. The facts are, my scalp was burned multiple times and I could literally smell my hair burning from the lack of protection. I expressed all of my concerns for the unprofessionalism I experienced to the owner and she gave me the impression that she did not care. She was honestly rude to me and only offered me a 10% discount for canceling on me the previous time. I never complain and I never write bad reviews, but in this case I am livid. I feel like my time and money were not respected. I definitely will never be coming back to House of Beauty and I hope no one else has to experience what I have. Truly the worst experience I have ever had at a hair salon.

I am always pleased my services , the salon is clean, classy and state of the art. All the ladies are the . They aim to please and do! I know I am a broken record, but treat yourself you will not be disappointed. Danielle is the owner an a amazing stylish , but all the ladies are amazing from the receptionist to the shampoo ambassador, beautiful salon with a beautiful friendly staff.

My daughter and I had a wonderful experience at House of Beauty the Next Level!! We were looking for a new salon home that can accommodate our hair needs and now we don't have to look any further!! My daughter and I are so pleased with how Tilsa and Danni took care of us and made us look beautiful!! Thank you ladies for our first experience as new clients while making us feel welcomed, valued and very pretty!!
