Very responsive and accommodating. I asked for a last minute appointment and Markesha was able to squeeze me in.

I was going to give her three stars for the speed, but the more I looked at my hair and think of my experience..The less stars I thought about leaving. Pros: She did my hair quickly. Cons: She left knots all throughout my hair and it's probably because she was doing my hair so quickly. I don't know what product she used to individually twist my hair but that product was sticky and it's actually causing my hair to tangle. The product is clumpy and it makes my hair look dirty. It even ruined my silk pillow! Also, finger detangling does not work for everyone's hair! I will not be returning and I'm just thankful to God that I left with my edges that day.

Very late post but I went to this shop when I had locs for my first in salon hair bleaching/ color. My locs began falling out a month after the service. The stylist that bleached my hair apparently left bleach in my locs. (Locs can retain a lot of product. Guess she didn't know. Neither did I- that's why I went to a professional) The smell was unbearable. The next day after the service, I washed my newly retwisted hair because of the stench. I realized something was wrong- my hair still smelled "chemically". I contacted the shop and another stylist, I believe the owner, thoroughly washed my hair and retwisted it. Which is why I'm giving it 1 star: I appreciated the attempt to correct it. But it was too late. Like I said, my locs began thinning and falling out. I ended up cutting my locs, a year after because of it. I wouldn't recommend bleaching your locs at this salon. They may be good for other services.

Well... one of the best hair salons I have been too. Didn't wait for hours because I had a appointment already! My friend told me this place was good so I divided with her and we changed salons so we could try Different ones and I love The Hair Marquins

I got my first knotless box braids by Jazmine and I love them! I arrived a little late for my appointment but she was very nice about it. A wash is included with the style and she gave a very thorough shampoo and condition. She showed me pictures of other clients with similar hair types to help me get a feel for the look and decide on a size and then she got right to work. Jazmine is so precise with her parting and braiding technique which means no pulling, tight edges or scissor trim at the end. She tucks your hair in the braid and finishes with mouse. While it did take a little longer than anticipated, I didn't really mind because Jazmine is so friendly that the time seemed to pass quickly as we chatted. I will definitely use her again for future styles
