The Fringe Salon in Sanford, NC

Went in for color (go blonde) and even showed a picture of what I wanted, it took gayle about 5 hrs to work with my dark hair when it should've been like 3 hrs at most. She put in so much product in my hair just for it to look like cheap blonde highlights, I could tell she was inexperienced as a colorist. I didn't know what to think at the moment and went ahead and payed them, money to the trash, I saved up for this! That's what hurt the most. I could've went back in and complained but I didn't want any of them touching my hair again. The other lady there/owner said " usually it's lighter, sorry" like? It was my first time being vulnerable with my hair at a salon and have ruined my confidence of going to any other salon. I always read the reviews first when going to new places and I should've listened to Amy, the other helpful review. I feel like they have all the products to work with but no clue on how to use them and give you what you want.

I've been there 3 times and am headed over for my 4th visit. The owner Alison is great. I needed a place to get my hair colored and cut. I had been un successful in finding a good stylist at the chain locations. So happy that I found Alison at the Fringe Salon. It's a 45 min drive from where I live but it's absolutely worth it.

This was my first time going to the Fringe Salon since I am looking for a new regular stylist. I have mixed emotions about this place! First, my appointment took almost 5 hours and made me late for work (even though I told her multiple times I had to be at work at 2). Allison got distracted very easily and would stop frequently while doing my hair (most of the time to talk to a coworker or a client). I have had my hair colored twice a year, every year for three years and my hair has never taken more than 3 hours to do. I understand every stylist is different and that i have a lot of hair, but i think that is an excessive amount of time to do my hair. My hair is also two different lengths when I bring my hair to the front.. the left side is longer than the right side. I couldn't see the length difference until I straightened my hair two days after (she curled my hair even though she knew I was on a time crunch). Allison is a very sweet lady and I do not mean to talk badly about her, I am just speaking my opinion! I don't know if the color just didn't lift as well as I wanted it to, but I don't notice that much of a difference from my old color to my new one... you would think that sitting in the chair for almost 5 hours that I would see a difference! Once again, Allison is a very sweet lady, but I think I will see somebody else next time!

Went to Kristin at The Fringe Salon. She had the awful job of correcting a dye job gone wrong from another salon. She knew just what to do, gave me a great haircut, and I walked out with the hair color I wanted originally. Highly recommend!

Kristin is awesome! She did a fabulous job with my cut and color! I highly recommend her for her excellence and reasonable prices. My profile pic was taken right after my visit.
