Fantastic Sams Cut & Color in Sanford, NC

During a regular haircut this stylist, Jennifer Fortenberry, was attempting to speak to my 11 year old son as he was getting his hair cut. She asked him his age and he responded "younger than you" to which this adult stylist hit my child in the head because she deemed his response to be rude.
This was how she explained her action to my husband following the haircut. Upon speaking with me after the even to explain herself, she attempted to say her and my minor child were joking around. Never is it ever acceptable to assault a client and/or a minor.  I am reaching out in hopes to prevent this from happening to another child as this is incredibly inappropriate, unprofessional, and illegal behavior.  I have filed a complaint with the franchise and they informed me she would be let go.   However, she was still cutting hair today.  

Not to mention, my son's hair looked to be cut with a weed wacker.  So he was assaulted AND had a horrible haircut.

Received a cut from Narda and gave her my reference picture. Everything started well and I was excited, but at the end when I asked for a style (what I paid for) she just blow dried it and left it mostly damp. When I was able to see my hair, sections at the front of my hair were almost an inch shorter than the rest of my hair, I asked for layers but not for sections to be choppy and much shorter than the rest of my hair. I also asked for curtain bangs and did not get those either, just a huge chunk of "bangs" more like a fringe which I specifically said I did not want. I'm highly disappointed with this salon as I have never had an issue with Fantastic Sams. I do not recommend this stylist, I'm not sure about everyone else because I was not serviced by them. This artist also tried to tell me I was in the wrong and I asked for my bangs to be this short and choppy pieces, who would do that? Absolutely not. Save yourself the hassle.

I took my children to this location today for color. My kids are 11 and 8 and have never had anything but a hair cut. They had to bleach, then color. It took three and a half hours. I must say, it was a great experience! We dealt with three different ladies. All three were wonderful. They were attentive, patient, and friendly. We will definitely be going back. During the time we were there, there was a constant stream of people in and out. It didn't seem anyone had to wait very long at all.

I have tried to get my hair cut here several times. Every time I go in it's empty and the stylists are sitting around yet they have a "45 min wait"  it smells like farts too! The first time I didn't think much of it but the smell is consistently there  the ladies are not really friendly either. Maybe it's the fart smell

this hair salon has always been my go to place. the people are friendly and generous. they always try their hardest to get you in on time. my hair always ends up exactly how i ask for it. its clean and an airy building. a nice environment.
