Hannah really knows curls and how to make all types of curls look right. When she works her magic your curls transform from bothersome to beautiful. Hair products are top of the line as well.
While I was pretty happy with my first couple cuts with Hannah, my last experience was so bad that I will never be going back. I didn't get the cut I was looking for, and after leaving feeling unsure and shy about speaking up (as is so often the case with us women), I called and let Hannah know I was not happy with the cut and wanted it to be fixed. The layers were uneven and choppy and it just was not even close to the pictures I brought in. For how expensive her cuts are, I expected more. She denied my request for a fix, and said I needed to wait a week and then come back to her if I still didn't like it. I was quite shocked by this unprofessional and cold response, especially because I was nearly driven to tears about how my hair looked. Because of how this whole experience went, I asked for my tip to be returned. She agreed, and then informed me that I would not be welcome back. Not to worry--I don't want to come back. P.S. I was able to find another curly hair stylist to make a fix the same day. She was shocked at how uneven and haphazard the cut job was.
Hannah is the best stylist I've ever been to! No one has ever understood my head of complicated curls like her. Her cut, styling, attention to detail, and personal touch blew away my expectations. I thought my hair had almost lost its natural curls, but she gave me the right cut, explained proper product usage, and helped me understand how to style my hair, and literally, the curls came back in full strength! I was pretty shocked and very excited! If you want someone who knows how to work with curly hair, Hannah's your person!
Hannah listened to what I wanted and then checked several times to see how I was doing as she cut. She showed me step by step how to wash and condition my hair (after talking about what products would suit me) and then we discussed the best way to dry my hair quickly. She gave me recommendations for a hood dryer and how to color my hair at home and what to look for. She was super fun and engaged the whole time and I will be seeing her again, no doubt.
