This is a beautiful comfortable salon. 100% better than the chain owned salons. Mexa made me feel so pampered and special. Even took photos after she weaved out some gray and gave me a new style. You should check this place out!!

This is the most amazing place for hair. Like the other reviewer said Whoa is someone to follow wherever she goes, and my family has. She has been doing my mother's hair for over 20 years and she gave me my first perm in 1988. We have loved all our hair experiences at The Cottage!!!

Are you looking for a FANTASTIC hair dresser who knows how to cut hair? OK, her name is Fong and she can be found at The Cottage. I do not know why I am the first to write a review on The Cottage because I have been going there for a number of years. The cottage is tucked in back of a home on Escondido Ave with a blue sign out front ....and has parking for the patrons by the shop. There are other beauticians there also. I have followed my hair dresser Fong to 3 locations in the last 13 years and will not trust anyone else to cut my hair after a very bad experience with a hair cut. She also does full service....anything you might need in the way of beauty enhancement....and the prices are reasonable too. Fong can be reached by her cell at (760) 685-5445...make a appointment...you will be glad you did.
