Be Polished Nails-Spa in Vista, CA

I don't know where to start with this place. I wanted to like this place and I've been here many times. The first thing is the pricing is different every single time you go in. The latest time I was charged 140 something dollars without a tip. For a new set and a pedicure. Sometimes it's 180 sometimes it's 120 based on pricing it should be closer to 120. I had a male gentleman who I told what I wanted and he completely did the opposite because he was upset that I was on the phone clearly for work. And he would make rude comments. The woman who did my pedicure claimed that they didn't have chrome while the woman who was doing my nails was doing chrome. So my feet did not come out the same as my hands, which is frustrating, considering how much money I'm paying to have the service done. The ambience completely sucks for the price. It is literally next to an autobody shop and if you're looking to relax, don't bother because they won't let you put the massage chairs on if they're doing both at once.I was really hoping for something better but it's just a racket.

So I came back to give this business a second chance and I was turned away by the owner. She said that because I complained about the ombré look on my review; I couldn't come back and no one else could take me. I told her that I did complain about the price because again WHY is a refill $50 dollars on short nails? I never complained about the nail technician, he is great just prices are outrageous. Anywho, don't say I didn't warn you ladies. I believe in second chances and this was my second one. Refills should be cheaper, might as well get a new set every time I go get my nails.

I have patronized this place for 7 years and have been at times happy then dissatisfied. I got a toe fungus from this place and today I returned just to remove gels and get a manicure. She ripped my skin. When I asked for a stamp on my card, the owner said I need to spend $29 before I can get a stamp. Their prices are ridiculous since COVID. I finally voiced my dissatisfaction and will not return. Now I am in pain from this stupid cut. Terrible service!!!!!!!!!

Whoever was on phones today needs to get out of that shop. This place is awesome but unfortunately we will not be going there anymore simply because of this employee. I called to book 3 services which mean 3 CLIENTS- I asked if they had a specific time available to which they said no, I kindly asked what times they were available and she stayed quiet so I said "hello?" And she said anytime but that time. I gave her a time and she laughed and said, "I already said no you don't understand?" I was confused as to why she would talk to any client that way, I let it go and asked what times were available AGAIN, and she said, "I can't talk on the phone I have other calls to take." This phone call was literally no longer than 30-40seconds. This definitely wasn't the owner because the owner is a sweetheart and she knows me as a regular client because my entire family has been going there since they first opened. Whoever this was needs to be taught a lesson or retrained- regardless if it's their family's business. It's a customer service business therefore they are required to provide JUST THAT. absolutely ridiculous & unacceptable behavior.

Well, I have been going here for years and love the place. My daughter and I go together every few months. No complaints until today. I was getting a pedicure and as she was scraping my heel she went to hard and took a chunk of my skin off. It took awhile to stop the bleeding and I had to limp out of there. Worst was when they charged me for it!! Sadly, we won't be going back.
