Thairapy Salon in Acworth, GA

First time (and last) trying this salon. As a curly girl, I'm used to getting a different kind of cut. This seemed like a glorified Great Clips. I requested a dry cut so she could see my curl pattern; she insisted on washing it first. Then she did the same cut as any other client. She blew dry it straight (!!!) then used a curling iron. What the heck?! "All my curly clients love it like this." Um, no. Just- no.

Talented stylist with reasonable pricing. Give them a try, they won't disappoint you.

A year ago, just before the Pandemic shutdown life as we had known, , I had my regular haircut. Time passed. My former hair salon went out of business. I needed help. A few days ago, I realized that I had to find help! Of course, I read reviews and checked to see who remained in business. I did a couple of drive-by views and knew that I would get an appointment with someone at Thairapy Salon. I went to the appointment today. The shop is clean, open, friendly and now my favorite place! The lovely Stacia removed my 2020 hair mess and restored my hair style! Frankly, I look fantastic. I will be a regular at the shop.

This salon is a hidden treasure located in Acworth, GA. Jennifer Ketchum is my hair stylist and does an awesome job with my cuts, base color and highlights! So sweet and talks with you to understand what you want but will also suggest new styles/colors if you are wanting a change. Stacia (the owner) is also great as is Melissa! You have to try this affordable salon with such a talented group of hairdressers!

Melissa is my go-to, but all the girls are great! The salon is clean and super stylish. I've been here for eyebrow waxing, hair color, highlights, low-lights, and hair cuts. Never had a bad experience.
