Highly recommended Hair Salon, especially for kids. They do adult cuts also. Mara does a great job! We've been going there for years. Appointments are currently booking a few weeks ahead , but it's pretty easy to get in.
Took my son here for his first haircut at 19 months old and it was such a great experience!! The woman cutting his hair was so gentle and patient. She allowed him to get comfortable, explore and she moves through the steps of the haircut very slowly/ meeting the child where they are. She let my son touch the vibration of the razor and feel the blowing of the hair dryer before bringing it to his head to make sure he wasn't scared. There's a tv with cartoons playing to entertain them while they get the cut. There's also a fun waiting area that was unfortunately closed because of covid but hopefully it reopens before our next visit!! We even received a certificate with his name, the date and a lock of his hair attached! The prices are comparable to other local kids salons and this place doesn't charge extra for the certificate/lock of hair!
My daughter got the cutest haircut there! I showed her a picture and she got the SAME haircut-- that never happens! They are very nice and follow covid safety rules. I will go back soon.
Hair cut was just fine but the place was built for kids! We tried taking our 2.5 yr old to a regular barber shop that my husband goes to, and it ended up with lots of crying and a half done haircut. At least at this place they were able to keep him calm with the toys, small tv in front of every seat, straps on the chair (sounds awful I know but it keeps the little one from moving side to side as to ruin the cut or risk their little ears), and lollipops. As said haircut was just ok but I wasn't expecting much for a kiddo hair anyways. Have been going back ever since.
Fantastic service all around - I can not recommend this place enough and especially for a first haircut! The certificate with a lock of my daughter's hair was such a lovely touch.
