My teen had a surprise request to get his mane of hair cut off last night. I attempted two salons that are familiar and struck out. A Yelp search on our way to dinner led us to Kat at Tailored Salon and she squeezed him in (huge thank you!)

Well, more than the place I recommend Katherine. I've been her customer for years and have followed her to Tailored Salon.
Kat is awesome so specific to this salon a few things to know;
- easy to get to since it's so close to Carolina place mall
- parking is not easy but plenty of parking available next to the railroad a few feet away
- refinished just recently
- enough space for 2-3 patrons to wait so don't get there too early. You can grab coffee or tea next door or a beer at Kits/Pintville if you are early
Kat cut my hair and that was fine. However in terms of coloring, I cannot recommend. Overpriced for what you get. Corrections are deflected and expects the customer to pay more if she decides to correct.
Overall, I'll be looking elsewhere.
Love this cute little salon! Naomi is fabulous and really listens to what you want and educates you on how you can get there with little to no damage to your hair! The entire staff is doing so well to protect you and them during COVID. They are cleaning chairs between use and even cleaning the wash bowls between clients! I would highly recommend this salon.
I love My hair now! Kat is fabulous. She listens to what you're envisioning and takes her time to understand how your hair lays, what your normal routine is and then produces exceptional results. On top of that she is reasonably priced and super friendly. I highly recommend this place. Especially coming from someone who has never really found anyone that could make my very straight and difficult hair look so fabulous and get so many compliments on it.
