T.J nails & spa in Salem, VA

I bought $60 dollars in gift cards and since the fire, they are not returning my phone calls. Of anyone could contact me, I would appreciate it.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY GOING HERE!!!! I have been going to this salon about every 3 weeks to get my nails filled since I was a freshman at the near by college (I am now a Junior). They usually do an okay job, but I am never truly satisfied and I always leave frustrated. Today was my last straw. I went in to get my dip removed and to get a normal manicure on my natural nails... one the most simple things you can ask for. Kevin (I think) wrapped my nails in acetone, and then proceeded to go do someone else's nails and left my nails soaking for 30 MINUTES. My hands felt like they were burning off. When he finally gets back, I don't even get an apology and he then tries to chip me short of a manicure by just giving me polish because there were people waiting. The manicure he ended up giving me was very subpar. There was polish all on my fingers and my nails were not filed well at all, I could have done a better job myself. All I did was ask for a manicure and I ended up being there for an hour. When I left my nails ended up smudging because he said I was ready too early, so I just ended up taking it all off. What a WASTE!

Worst experience I have EVER had at a nail salon. They are rude and pushy. They asked what color I wanted my nails, I said no color, I like the natural look or a white tip. They instantly started pushing me into something I didn't want that cost twice as much and they looked horrible. The guy was extremely rough with my nails, left large gaps that looked like my nails already needed a fill in, and didn't file down the acrylic so I had Sharpe points on and under my nails in every direction. They bullied me out of everything I wanted to make more money and just to give my nails fungus. This is the first time in 5 years I have gotten my nails done and needed to have a good me day and they killed it

This will be my last time in this salon. If I am paying you hundred dollars for my nails I expect what I pay for. I don't need attitude if I correct you! This is my 3rd time getting attitude. Always excuses that I picked the wrong color or that's extra it's always more money for something simple. The racism is what I am not accepting either! My money is green just like my Caucasian people money is. If you have brown skin don't go there! Will not be going to any salon in Salem anymore lord I miss living in a big city!

Let me first start by saying this is the worst mani and Pedi I have ever had! She rushed both my mani and Pedi. She did not snip my visible hangnails. She did not remove the visible cotton ball fuzz. She didn't use the cuticle remover to remove the skin around my finger or toes. She did not put lotion or oil around my fingers. I feel like this is the basics of any manicure and pedicure! I will never come back. I don't know if it was the complexion of my skin or just their service! I will do my mani and Pedi myself until I can find a salon that takes pride in their work as well as their customers. I usually always leave a $10 -$15 tip however I left her nothing and got my change back! I hope that anyone who decides to go to this nail place their service is better than mine! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!
