Supercuts in Columbus, OH

I would not recommend coming to this supercuts. Donna was not very unaccommodating when I showed up at 5:33 for my 5:30 appointment. She said she could not cut my hair since I was late and I would have to reschedule for tomorrow when they did not close for another hour and a half and there was no one waiting to get their haircut next. Very bad on her part and I will not come back again.

We brought my son in for a haircut today and it was the worst haircut he has ever had. He is very good at sitting still for haircuts, but the stylist complained that she wouldn't finish the job unless he stopped moving so much. He barely moved at all. She "finished" his cut, but when we got home, we had to trim stray chunks of hair from his sideburns and around his neck. This stylist appeared as if she had never cut hair before in her life. Maybe some of the other people who work here are competent, but we'll never be going back.

I know a lot of older reviews are poor, but this salon was bought just last year and has new owners and stylists. Katie is my usual stylist and she's awesome and is phenomenal at hair cuts (and even specializes in black hair types) and her hair dyeing skills are impeccable. They're all super friendly and love to talk to their guests.

Don't go here! worst experience ever! I asked for a cut and color to light brown with highlights and walked out a strong blonde! Never again will I set foot in here. She kept telling me I was going to get a warm chocolate brown with highlights, came over and showed me two samples of color, one lighter and one darker and asked if I wanted mine more on lighter side or darker....since I was concerned about her getting it too dark brown, I said I need it to be lighter...when done I told her I didn't like it because it was blonde not brown she yelled at me "you chose the blonde sample" which was really not true. I told her I was not a colorist, that that was her job but she still insisted that it was my fault...not professional at all. She did not offer to do anything about refunding me any money or offer a solution to correct this very disturbing outcome...I've never been a blonde and did not want to be one....so, this salon does not guarantee their work, so beware! And, to add insult to injury, didn't like it much when she gouged my earlobe with her fingernail and scraped my forehead with her bracelet when she roughly shampooed me! Haircut was ok but not really what I asked for either but I could live with it til it grows out....don't waste your money here!

Starting out, let me just say that I've gotten better haircuts at places I had to sign a waiver before hand. I guess it's nice that they're fast, but by the time you get home and your significant other is yelling at you to go back, you're already spending more time there than you would have anywhere else. Consistently meh haircuts at a consistently meh price. I don't know why I went back so many times. Probably the sheer convenience of it all. The nice thing is you can take your kid here if you want your dog's haircut to look better by comparison. I don't have a kid though.
