Sun Nails in Oxford, AL

I would overall just not recommend this place. My friend wanted one hand with green nails and one hand with brown nails with a heart of the opposite color on the middle finger. As you can see in the pictures, they messed up multiple times but never tried to fix it. Also, when she said what she wanted, they said that they couldn't do it when they 100% could. They also made her pay before she even got them done. I asked for a regular acrylic with some squiggly lines on them and they said they couldn't do it when I saw another girl with exactly what I wanted walk out of the salon. When they told me they couldn't do my design I asked for a black v shape French tip. They then proceeded to give me a white French tip. They are not what I asked for, but they do look ok from far away. Anyways, wouldn't recommend going here, there are way better places in Oxford to go to.

This place is the best nail place in town. The customer service is A1. They are open as long as the mall is open. They take their time on your nails and make sure that you like them before you leave. The pedicure is a true definition for self care. This a very clean environment and makes you feel welcomed. I would highly recommend this for males, females, and any other sexes out there.

I went on Saturday 3/7 and paid $117 for a deluxe spa pedicure and a full acrylic set, both with gel polish, and two fingernails with a design. My pedicure looks amazing, but my fingernails look awful. They didn't even push my cuticles back or trim hangnails or dead skin around my fingertips. The polish on one finger has a piece of debris in it that caused a bubble. The polish doesn't go all the way to the edge of most of my nails, and in some places (especially the bottom,) the acrylic doesn't even go all the way to the edges. It's a brand new set, but looks like it's at been on least two weeks or longer. I could tell they were bad before I left, and even asked if they could be fixed, but the lady told me it was my skin showing, not my nails. These pictures are this morning, LESS THAN 48 HOURS after having them done. It's obvious here that it's the nails showing, not my skin. I will not be returning to this salon.

I am giving Them 5 s bc Mai did an ultra fantastic job on my nails and Lynn did an ultra beautiful job on my piggies and Heather did a fantastic job on my friend's piggies and I will most definitely be coming back here next time I'm in the area!!

Overpriced and not very sanitary. On the plus side, they do stay open later during the week (8:30pm) and they are very nice. But, it was $27 (gratuity not included) for a standard pedicure with regular paint..... Across town you can get a mani/pedi combo for $30. If you want gel nail polish on your regular pedi, then add $6 to your over priced pedi. The tools used did come from an envelope, however they had rust stains. Another time while painting, some paint bled onto my skin and she pulled a tool from the drawer and wiped the paint off from the crease of my nail and toe, then put it back........ seemed very unsanitary.
