Made an appointment same day, and got a French gel manicure. Pretty good for $35, nails are a little bit messy, but I wouldn't say they are bad. Service was good. Got what I was expecting overall lol.
The man that did my nails did an amazing job! I had gotten these same nails (dip w/ tip) done precovid & had to come back again to get it like that again. He did exactly what I wanted and they look so good!
I've been to this nail salon once before last year and had a relatively good experience. However, I visited this salon on September 2nd and was extremely dissatisfied with my service. I got a dip manicure, and the technician clearly did not want to work with me - he did not speak to me at all, ignored my questions and conversation, and rushed through the entire service. A manicure that normally takes 60 to 90 minutes was completed in less than an hour. The set was $50 for, at best, mediocre work. After ONLY 4 days of having the set on, two nails have already broken off, and I've done absolutely nothing that would cause this to happen, having sat in bed the past 4 days (really showing my lazy here). I called the salon for a refund for the service or to at least receive some money back and have the two nails fixed and no one answered, I have not received any correspondence back from them either. Needless to say, I will not be returning back to Star Nails and I cannot recommend this salon to anyone I know.
First time at Star Nails was a success! I showed them a picture of what I wanted and they did just that but better! Totally recommend!
If I could give zero stars I would. My daughter went In and asked for ombré with gel and they completely destroyed them and then told her they would fix the top coat but she would have to wait an hour. They charged her $70 for this. AVOID this place
