Stacey Beauty Salon in San Jose, CA

I have been coming here for quite a few years now. The place is divided into 2 separate salons. Upon entering you notice the place is a bit sloppy. The chairs are ripped, The floors are dirty, walls are chipped, but hey, Nothing a good upgrade wouldn't fix. We mostly come to get a hair cut from Roberto! He is amazing !! We always call ahead to schedule an appointment with him and he is always on time! His station is clean and he does not really chat it up like other barbers do. Our visit is always enjoyable. I did however noticed something that has caused me to remove a star from this review. While Roberto was cutting my brother's hair, there was a man waiting for someone to attend him. He informed one of the staff members that he was in a hurry. After a few minutes had passed the customer was still sitting on the chair while the staff members were eating and talking to each other very loudly. I thought this seemed to be very unprofessional and not something you would see at other hair salons. The staff is fluent in Spanish and English. Prices are affordable. However they do not except card, so make sure to bring cash!

I came here last april and i got an ombre done by PEDRO and i came back january because i liked his previous work. But when i came back on january i had the worst expierence ever! I had made an appointment with PEDRO and we planned the day and time when i was going to go. The day came and i went at the time we had planned he ended up coming two hours late. After that i asked for my hair to be a caramel color not to blonde not to orange and he said he would make my hair look just like i wanted it. When he was done dying my hair he dried it and curled it and it looked good but when i got home i was looking at my hair and i noticed i had all my roots undyed, so i called him and told him my hair wasnt fully dyed he said to go back and i did. The second time i went he bleached my hair AGAIN. It turned completely orange and he said it looked better than when i first walked in and i said it was to orange he said it would get better if i used the purple shampoo but it did not get better. Im never coming back to this place again. Aside of all of that, he gets distracted to easy i literally got there at 11am and left at 7pm. I was there all day and it wasnt worth it one bit. I wouldnt recommend this place. Save your time and money!!

I have been coming here for years now. Their service is top notch. The guy who cuts my hair is a professional who takes pride in his work. Stacey's beauty Salon has by far the best Barbers and hair stylists in San Jose.
