Spot On Salon in Hurst, TX

My results were honestly so disappointing and this is why ; first of all , I was promised by Rosa a blue color and she told me she could pull it off . I know it's a very hard color to dye but I already have greenish hair and she told me it wouldn't be hard . My roots were grown out and I wanted them re done and I made it clear in writing that i wanted my roots done . I let her know that I'm okay with bleaching my hair to get my desired results because I wanted my hair lighter . She was so nice she told me she would even make me a conditioner for my hair I can take home . Guess what happen when I went to her . She told me she wasn't gonna use bleach which was weird but I trusted her and she told me she was gonna dye my roots a dark blue which I never wanted but still , I trusted the process plus I'm already here . Rosa started changing things about what I wanted when I got there but I was sure with what I wanted through text . If she wasn't gonna do my roots and not make my hair lighter , she could've let me know before hand but she had to wait til I got there . After we were done , my hair wasn't blue( it was grey ish blue ) and she kept trying to convince me it was the blue I wanted and I was polite so I nodded away but my roots were also black still. The only thing that was dark blue was my scalp which she didn't wash well . Oh yes and the conditioner she made me , apparently it's not free and thank god I asked her because it was 50 bucks . I don't know about you but I'm not the type of person to spend 50 on a conditioner. When I said no thanks she kept trying to tell me how my hair will turn green and all um yeah it'll turn green ma'am because you never dyed it blue in the first place . Let's also not forget about the fact that she kept insulting my haircut which had nothing to do with my hair dye . She took pictures of my results and kept saying photos don't do it justice and started editing the photos because of that . So this tells you to not believe all the pics you see in her portfolio. I paid almost 300 bucks for my hair to look almost the exact same as when I came in and my roots were basically undone . My hair was not vibrant at all , it was darker and grey and dull because she didn't use bleach . I just hate when hairdressers promise you a result that they can't just for money and try to sell you products on top of that . I've been screwed over by another hairdresser before . She felt bad and charged me less at least but I still stopped her but no Rosa didn't do any of that ( which I didn't expect ) because somewhere in her head my hair was "sooooo blue ". I'm still a high schooler and I been saving up for this and went to a trusted person . What I will say is , if you'd like to go to a cheerful person who does good balayage and highlights , she's the one for you . I'm just not her demographic unfortunately. I should've definitely been more stern about what I wanted and let her know but she acted like she knew everything so I didn't question . I still tipped her on top of that because I don't have anything against her but yes this experience ruined my day .

This is a wonderful place, clean, prompt and delightful. Mary has taken care of me and my daughter for years. She is such a joy and blessing. She has cut, colored and made us beautiful for multiple occasions. I recommend her for al situations. For almost ten years we have always left with smiles on our faces.

This stylist messed up my hair and offered to fix it. There was a original appt in December 1st and she canceled it due to me being in the hospital which is fine. However now I have had to reach out to her several times and she just makes up excuses saying she's to busy. She has never once offered me a new days to fix my hair that she messed up. And she has been paid for the service. Do not go to her. She does not keep her word. I was suppose to be blonde all up top and I left looking like I still needed my hair done. With dark roots and that's not what we discussed. Also the right side of my head and a straight line running thru it if blonde. I can't even wear my hair down because of it.

I wanted a color treatment that wouldn't require damaging my hair and service at a salon that was private and covid-friendly. Mary exceeded all of my expectations and was such a pleasure to book with.

I went to Mary needing a fix after quarantine. I have never been happier with my hair, I feel like a new woman. My hair color is rich and vibrant, and my cut is flawless. She is top notch! She's very warm and friendly- and passionate about her craft. It makes the experience personal and exciting. I have had several people stop me to ask about my color. The salon is very clean and neat. I cannot recommend enough, excited to go back...thank you Mary!
