Sport Clips Haircuts of Bulverde - Singing Hills in Bulverde, TX

I have a 5th grader boy who does not like haircuts. We've always taken him to Great Clips, etc. for convenience and price. I decided to try Sport Clips and we were both blown away. First, initial waiting area was roomy and pleasant. The sports theme and tvs were a nice touch. Since it was my sons first visit, he got their "MVP" treatment upgraded for free. The normal $22 haircut had the extra MVP (about $10) added for free. With the MVP, you get haircut, relaxing shampoo, hot towel over your face, and a shoulder massage (via hand held device - not hands). My son loved it! He said we can visit monthly now for his haircut, which I will gladly pay! Excellent staff, clean waiting area with plenty of room, and overall great experience for my son. We will return monthly. Pay the extra for the MVP and stop wasting time and frustration with Great Clip or Supercuts. Option to tip on the machine with card payment ($5, $7, $10, or other)- nice feature and options.

We love the friendly staff at this Sports Clips location. We recently moved to the area, so we have been coming in for the past few months and the service is consistently great. We really appreciate being able to use the online system to know whether or not they are super busy as well as to check in early for appointments. Furthermore, there is a nice and clean waiting area, and the rest of the store is always kept super polished as well. Felix cuts my husband's hair (he gets a fade) and he always offers great conversation and an even better haircut.

This location is below average. We checked in online, and when we got to the store. My son was next up, they called his name. I grabbed my purse and when I walked to the desk, and they had already gave my sons seat to someone else. The person said "oh, you didn't answer".... We stood up within 10 seconds of her calling our name. The other person they gave my sons seat to, tried to give it back to us, but the stylist refused and said we would have to wait until the next stylist was available. Apart from that, the credit card machines almost always have to run cards twice in order to pay.

I have never left a review on anything before, but the haircut I got was too good not to. I went in with no preferred stylist and had my hair cut by a very tall, young, black lady. she was very kind and kept asking me questions which was very helpful. It was easily the best haircut I have ever had.

Terrible service. Checked in ahead of time and online. Wait time 30 minutes. I arrived and let them know I was there. Wait time when I walked in said 10 minutes. Not 5 minutes lasted the board shows 30 minutes. WTH! Halfway thru....the board goes up and increases the wait time. This not only happened to me...but several other people in there as well. Clearly these people don't know how to work the board or take the right people in order of the board. Nevertheless. I waited since I had already gone out of my way to come there and get services. Feel bad for one of the other guys as he had a small child who was restless after 10 minutes and he had gotten there about the same time as I did. If you don't know how to properly use the electronic queuing system. You probably shouldn't be touching the keyboard. Just saying. Next time. I'll take my business to a different sports clip (1406/281) as I've never had this problem there. No thanks to this one!
