Love this salon!!! Elise is my favorite hairstylist!! So cool and so outgoing. She is so easy to talk to and gives the best advice for your hair! I always get so many compliments when she does my hair! Here are some photos of my hair too!!

I recently got my hair done by Heather (who was referred to me by a friend) and this is the first time I've walked out of a hair salon beyond satisfied with my hair. Heather was so sweet and she walked me through everything before she did it. The rest of the staff were sweet and the place was clean and the decor was very cute lol. And it was way cheaper than other places I've been. Definitely 5 stars.

I just moved to Minnesota from Virginia and I had been wanting my hair colored back to its natural color for my DMV picture & job opportunities out here. I found Spalon Elite on Google Maps and it had really good reviews! I went with it, since it was close by and in my price range. Shari was my stylist and she was amazing! Super friendly, asked tons of questions about Virginia and what I do, why I wanted to come out here, and I just had a wonderful time chatting with her. She did an amazing job on my hair, going from a faded bleach blonde and pink to a dark brown. She showed me all of the hair swatches before hand, asked every thing about what I was looking for, and made me feel comfortable that she was right for the job! I will definitely go back to her and her business for any of my hair needs. I included before & after photos, she did great!

I scheduled a mani/pedi with plenty of notice. When I showed up I was quickly ushered in and it was obvious the woman doing my mani/pedi was in a hurry. I got about a minute soak, then my feet rubbed dry and then asked if I brought a nail polish which I never knew I had to provide. When I told her I had not she brought out the lame less awful polished I ever saw that belongs on a 5 year old or a 80 year old. The same hurry it up treatment on my nails. I went home and re-polished all my nails and did my own oil treatment of the cuticles. I felt like I had wasted my time and monkey..never went back....

I was disapointed in the service I received from the owner, Lisa. I arrived on time for my 10:30am appointment. The receptionist said Lisa was giving a massage and would be with me shorthly. 30 minutes later, Lisa finally appeared. She did not acknowledge nor did she apologize for the delay. I started out by telling her I have been trying for 3 years to find a stylist in Cambridge that would give me the "clipper cut" I wanted. She said my search was over and that there are only 2 ways to cut men's hair anyway. As she cut my hair, she told me about all her years of experience and what a great stylist she was. She told me how hard it was to cut "flat-tops" and how good she was at them. (I never asked for nor mentioned "flat-top" so I don't know why the subject arose.) She did not give me the haircut I asked for. She did not use the clippers and she did not cut my hair as short as I asked. She did not trim the hair off my neck or my ears. She never once asked me anything about myself. Her final comment to me was that when I came back, she would not remember me but I would get the same great haircut regardless. Perhaps the massages are wonderful or the womens syles are done well but if you are a man who wants a "clipper cut", this is not the place for you. My hair will grow back long before the memory of this bad experience fades.
