From my standpoint as an average guy, Solstice Salon is a great boutique Aveda salon. You won't meet a nicer guy than Frank. He's got skills that have never let me down. Scheduling is reasonable and the service you get is tops - great conversation, never rushed, lots of product, fair pricing and Frank and his sister (who also styles) are always both so pleasant. Oak Cliff is lucky to have a quality salon like Solstice. And the restaurant right next door, Jed's Place, is a great place to grab a bite right after or before your cut.
Really odd, poor experience. Still growing out a terrible cut and I did notify the salon soon after. This was weeks ago so not a knee-jerk review. Just catching up on my Yelps and this salon was on my to-do list.
