GRAND NAIL SALON - Oak Lawn (15% Off All Day Mon-Wed) in Dallas, TX

I've gone to this nail salon for years off and on. It's conveniently located to me and the hours are decent so I go. The results are average at best, but the convenience outweighs it. Every single time, it is as if the patron / paying customer is bothering the manager at the front desk. They always try to upsell you with add ons. Today - since Mondays are 15% off - I added on a hot stone treatment for my pedicure. Huge mistake. The tech put a burning stone directly onto my calf and burned my leg so badly I screamed and dropped what I had in my hands. They just laughed at me. The tech thought it was hilarious. I asked her to stop laughing and told her I was in pain. She acted like she didn't know what I was saying. No one offered to assist my pain. I told her I would not be paying for the up charge and asked her to quickly finish. Upon checking out the manager refused to take the hot stone charge off saying that she still took the time to try them on me and it wasn't their fault. At the very least my entire visit should have been comped. But no, he gave me a 10% discount on my scalded leg. Never ever again will I visit. Terrible rude service. Shameful.

I have visited this place many times and they always do a great job and my nails last for a long time. The last time I visited, my gel nails started to peel up very quickly. They say they have a 2 week repair policy. I came back in with my receipt from 13 days ago and showed them my nails, and they said they would not be able to repair my nails because there were too many of them messed up. She said they will repair a nail if something happened, but all of my nails were either chipped or starting to peel up on the edges. She said they can't fix all 10 nails. They did not honor their two week repair policy and only offered a 20% discount instead to get them all fixed. I will attach photo of my nails at day 13 for reference. I understand that sometimes you get a bad manicure and sometimes they don't last as long, but if you have a 2 week repair policy you should be prepared to honor that.

Very disappointed. Got a gel manicure and less than one week later it is already chipping and snagging on my hair. Definitely not worth the $ and nail techs were not very friendly either. Go elsewhere for a gel manicure!

I was with a friend and we both got the exact same thing but our services were totally different and I was charged more. No soak, no cuticle care, no buffing, no lotion. Just an extremely rapid and sloppy dip application. With the person sneezing and coughing and rubbing their nose and making the grossest snorting sounds. So for that reason, I guess I'm grateful it was rushed? They didn't ask me about nail shape or length and just got up and left when done. I didn't even know they were done. The pedicure wasn't quite as rushed but wasn't at all what I paid for. The manager at the front desk (the man) is incredibly rude and argumentative. They bait and switch with the prices and overcharge for a subpar experience. I also just looked at my credit card statement and the charge was even higher than the crazy number I paid at the salon. I was suspicious when the place was basically empty but I learned the hard way. Don't repeat my mistake!

I've gone to this place 3 times & each time I've received a great full acrylic set, acrylic fill and/or pedicure. In my search for a good nail salon with reasonable prices (happy hour & none happy hour) this place has checked all the boxes. Their happy hour lasts until 4pm (Monday through Wednesday) with 15% off ALL services just as advertised. I'm very particular about my nails & all services that I spend my money and this place is worth every penny! They are excellent with price transparency!
