Solar Nails in Del Rio, TX

Zero stars for Customers service, we are from out of state and called a week prior to our arrival and wanted to make a reservation for our group for a special occasion, they said they don't take reservations that far out and to call the day before we wanted an appointment So we did that and they said they were already booked up. Being rude n disrespectful to your customers is not good customer service.

Jennifer did an amazing job on my nails and toes! Took her time and was very meticulous. Huge selection of nail colors. The shop is clean, and prices were fair. Will be back!

I travel a lot and have been to dozens of salons as a result. I've been here twice and both times have had the two best nail fills and gel/shellac ever. The gentleman (I think his name is Lam) is simply fabulous, can't rave enough about the quality and durability of my nails.

If you're a busy person and spontaneously want to get your nails done (no appt) this place is amazing. They take their time and the gel last a lot longer than other walk in salons I've gone to.

I just had the worst experience at this establishment. Those of you that know me, know I've been getting my nails done every two weeks for the past decade and never have I had an encounter like this. I went in for a simple nail removal. Instead of the typical updated nail removal method he fills up a bowl of acetone and walks away to talk to another customer for 30 minutes! When he is in ear range I ask him if he can try and drill them down seeing as how I am very apparently pregnant and acetone is very corrosive and not good to breathe in or soak through my skin for that amount of time. He then raises his voice and states he wants to protect my nails and needs to use acetone and was unable to lift the nails otherwise, which is a lie, there was no other attempt made other then squeezing a bottle of acetone. All the while rolling his eyes at me and laughing. His wife comes over and proceeds to drill and file down my nails while this man, the owner, starts talking about me and mimicking the hand gestures used to remove the nail for 30 MINUTES. Very rude and unprofessional. All the while looking over at me as he has his voice raised and talking about me to another employee who also continues to look over at me. I never post anything negative about anyone or their business but I'm appalled by his behavior and my treatment at this establishment. I am so upset and disgusted by this mans behavior toward a woman, a pregnant woman. At no point did I myself become rude or disrespectful and yet I was berated for 30 minutes. Those that know me also know I spend quite a bit of money on my nails as does Chis when we get pedicures together. I also tip generously and they have lost my business for good.
