We for my first visit with Mary Ruane today. She is phenomenal and did such a fabulous job- cutting and styling. Needed it so badly after over a year of having it done in NYC. She is definitely in the same league as those upscale salons I frequented in NYC but at much less price. Will definitely see her again!! The best so will be frequent flyer here'

This is a great concept - there are several individual businesses within Sola Salon.  I was unable to make it home for my hair appointment before the holidays so a local friend recommended Brad with Haircraft Studio (unit 16).  I was pleased that he could get me in so quickly.  I like that he dedicates his time to you only instead of working on multiple people at a time.  He was also very personable during the appointment. I had specifically told him upon my arrival that my hairdresser was trying to lighten my hair to be closer to my natural color because it had gotten too dark.  However, when my hair was finished, it was dark so I wasn't as enthusiastic as Brad expected me to be apparently.  I also had a blond streak which I questioned.  Although my hair was darker then I had expected, within a few days I liked the color (and it looked different under the artificial lights as opposed to being outside in the sun).  He did an exceptional job of covering the grey which is tricky.  I am heading back home in a couple of weeks so I left Brad a message on Friday (January 3) and again on Tuesday (January 7) asking if he had an opening at the end of the month.  As of this writing (January13), he has not extended the courtesy of responding to either of my voicemails (before my first appointment he was quick to return my call).  So I guess if you don't love your hair immediately, he doesn't want your business.  I just find it extremely unprofessional.  If he didn't want me to return, he should have said something that day instead of entering his phone number into my cell.  Really disappointed in how he manages his business and treats his clientele.  So unless you're willing to feed his ego I would suggest finding another hair stylist.
