I had a terrible experience at this salon. Though I made an appointment, the stylist was working on another client at the time. For the sake of time, they asked if it was ok for a different stylist to do my hair. All I wanted was a wash, blow dry and flat iron. The stylist proceeded to tell me that I needed a cut badly because my hair was damaged. I tend not to go to salons because they get too scissor happy. I take great care of my hair, so I was in shock when she said this. I trusted her word. When she was done with my hair, she had easily taken off about 3 inches of my hair. I also hated the way that she flat ironed my hair. It was limp with absolutely no body. I left the salon in tears. I would never go back to this salon.

I have been to this salon once before and was satisfied with a rod set. Upon returning, I was simply getting a wash and press. Unfortunately for me I had a different stylist. My hair is natural, long and thick. I picked this place under the assumption that all their staff members are professionals. I WAS WRONG! The stylist was rough, pulling and popping my hair with a fine tooth comb from the top of my scalp all the way to the ends. I repeatedly put my hands up covering and guarding my head, trying to avoid more pain. Finally, I asked her if she could please comb my hair out from the bottom up, this way it would be less breakage and less pain. Her response was " I'm not going to play with your hair, We will never get through this if I play with your hair ". Unbelievable, I didn't think that I made an unreasonable request, apparently she did. She continued to break off my hair with the comb, when she flat ironed it the experience was the same because she flat ironed partially knotted hair and then took the fine comb to snatch through it. A customer in the next chair who had witnessed the encounter whispered to me "you know they are on a schedule". At this point I'm thinking how much more pain and hair breakage will I have to endure because she is on a schedule. Word of advice: If you know the stylist and you are happy with his or her work then great! If you do not know the stylist before hand, then I recommend you spending your money somewhere else.

And she was taking her time and being accommodating to my needs when all she was explaining that she was doing her job. She even threatened to stop the service where we were. And telling me she's not going to fight with me cause I have an attitude. Like really? Mind you I am a very understand person had she said to me " you know it sounds like my co worker needs some help, do you mind if I step away for a minute?" I would have had no issue with that. Or even is she had come to check on me after 10 minutes and been like " I'm so sorry it's taking so long, are you ok ? Do you mind if I help out a little longer?" I would have had no issue then either but none of that happened and I had to call the receptionist over and now you're insulting me. So she had some more excuses until she finally said do you want me to take the charge off and I said yes obviously. Once I further explained that I would have been fine if I was at least checked on she said she apologized for that, that one part, but I didn't take it as sincere as I'm sure she just wanted me to shut up. She finally resumes my service and it took more than the 30 minutes I had left. She asked if I wanted my hair styled and I said no thank you. She sprayed some stuff on my hair and asked if I would like to go under the dryer and I - [ ] Said no I have to go. I politely thanked her for my service and go pay the amount that was agreed upon and even still tipped her, not as much as I was going to obviously, cause unbeknownst to her I have my nail license and just got my esthetician license not even 2 weeks ago so I understand working on commission and she did put in time and effort and i appreciated that she was being thorough but it was totally over shadowed by the completely lack of customer service and just straight up rudeness. So I of course I call my friend as soon as I walk out the door and it's now 7:18 and I started at 2:00pm. So it's needless to say not only will I not be returning to her, I will not be returning to the salon period. I didn't even look at my hair till I got home and she actually did a great job but that didn't matter. Like I said I won't mention her name cause she did a great job on my hair and I don't want her to get fired or anything but someone should sit down with her and explain what good customer service is and how she was totally in the wrong. Sorry this is so long but I like to be as detailed as I can. I still can't believe what happened I was utterly speechless. I've never had to argue with someone I was getting a service from and then just totally lie on me and took no accountability whatsoever. And never acknowledged the fact I was waiting for so long and didn't do anything to try to rectify the situation until I had to argue with her that I was not paying extra. Ridiculous

I wanted permanent color and the stylist gave me a temporary rinse that got all over clothes and bedding. The color was on my forehead because she didn't apply it right. The manager said they didn't offer refunds but offered to give me some products instead. No thanks.

Service sucks especially on Saturday...the hours of operation is wrong they close early on Saturday 630 pm or thats when I was there( and not at 9pm)...everyone was out by 5 pm. The stylist are beginners(my opinion) the ones she advertise are no longer there (I didn't see them). The 3 occasions I was there the owner wasn't there ... how can you manage a salon if you not there. False advertising braiding services they don't have. Some stylists don't use her products and not sure what's in the bottle they conditioner your hair with not alone what they give you to take home to manage your hair with, seen how you can only get it from them and it cost $23. The prices they charge are pricey for a mediocre hairstyle my opinion.
