The guy cutting my hair was trying hard enough. But dropping a brush on the ground, then using said brush to brush off his clipper, then using said clipper on my head... Then the girl next to me said in Vietnamese that I was a headache. Met Wah. Means headache in Viet btw. They say it often enough and in a tone that everyone knows they talking smack. The guy couldn't even do a proper layer correctly for the top part of my hair. Which is required to blend in a short medium haircut. He tried so I tipped well. Probably shouldn't have since he was laughing when he said the hair cut was 15 bucks. The dude was done when he dint want to even out the fade. Place don't know what a hurst fade is, a Mohawk cut, and how to layer or disinfect properly. On top of being the typical Asian talking smack right in front of your face.
It has been a long time since I have wrote a review on Yelp but I definitely still use yelp as a reference. I will be honest and say I am kinda of a cheap sake when it comes to my hair or really anything for that matter but I am really picky. I do not live in Elk Grove but have been here for a while. I thought I was never going to find my niche or my go to place but I finally did. Snips by Lee have been more than welcoming to my last minute requests which I appreciate. I have been more than satisfied of my results despite my crippling anxiety of fearing the worst. I would pick this place over a place that charges exorbitant rates for the same results. Just my two cents and personal preference. p.s. I am a woman that needs hair cut and hair coloring for maintenance.

I've been getting my hair cuts here for months and I get the same great results every time. Shout out to my stylist, Sally! She does excellent work on men's hair and she really hones in on the details to get it just right. I even started taking my son there and he quotes, "Miss Sally is the best hair cutter!".
