Lola Nails Spa in Elk Grove, CA

Thank you Susanne for beautiful nails. First time visit, Did a walk in, got exactly what I wanted.

First off I had a great pedicure today, I got what I asked for, the $40 spa pedicure plus $5 to remove gel polish. It was great, gal listened to my needs, friendly, good massage, etc. It was 4-5 stars. Thank you Jenny. Secondly I got my nails filled, the length trimmed shorter and a gel polish. I'd been going to another place and it's outrageously expensive so I tried this place for nails. I'm disappointed and shocked, my finished nails look like press on nails. I don't even know what to say. The lady was very nice, gentle but my nails...and my cuticles were obviously gnarly and could have been trimmed. I'm going to have to go get this fixed and pay for another fill. I think I'll go back to where I used to go. 1-2 stars for nails

I have been to Lola a few times. Not the greatest work but decent technique and my nails stayed on for 10 days before chipping or popping off. No nail art or anything fancy, I have yet to find that in Sacramento. Since I'm not from EG and just visit frequently, it was good enough. I would see Nick and he gave a good pedicure and basic manicure (what I went in for), hence the one star (also, Yelp won't let you go any lower). Otherwise, their communication is terrible. I called one hour before closing and asked if they could do a pedicure. "Yes yes please come. When can you be here?" was the response. I said 20 min. I get in the car and start to drive. As I'm around the corner, they call, I don't see it since I'm driving. I pull into the parking lot 2min late (traffic) and walk in. She proceeds to tell me they can't take me because I'm late. It was 3min past when I said I would be there. So, I went to a place a block over and had just as basic as a service. Thank you, Lola Nails, never again will I be coming back for average service and poor communication.

I can't really compare Lola to any other nail salon simply because I've never needed to go to another one. They have so many employees working they always have a spot for you, even if you're a walk-in you're not waiting that long or at least I haven't had to. Also, I always see one or two men getting mani/pedis in here every time I've been they make everyone feel very comfortable. They have affordable and really nice pedicure packages and they really take the time to get your feet looking and feeling good they're not ever rushing around which is something I really appreciate. I've only gotten pedicures since I work with my hands so I can only imagine that manicures would be just as nice.
