SmartStyle Hair Salon in Tallahassee, FL

I've been going to Smart Style for many years. I know it's in Walmart and this can scare some. But you may not be aware that Petra (one of the stylists) is actually a Master Cosmetologist - she's very sweet, friendly, personable and efficient, very business like while being very down to earth. The store is always clean & stocked with great products. Give Petra a chance... The reward outweighs the risk!

They only getting 3 stars because the older lady who styled my hair was really good .... bernidate As for The two fat hippos that choose to sit an talk about me calling me lame and I'm stupid because I been traveling city to city an I didn't know where I was ... like a salon is not a place of therapy for women .... no girl cold..... no girl power .... and the biggest one had on ballerina shoes an her feet was too big for em and her feet was ashy The other just look like a oversized frog because her eyes were so far apart an her body was horrible big top an little legs lmao They were rude and ignorant but once I tipped my stylist 50 dollars they were looking crazy like "oh this lady has money" They wanna be nice now .... They eyebrows were trash ... an the "big ballerina" cutt a guys hair an ruined it .... his wife was like UMM NOOOO!! An the frog girl lol ... she was with a guy that was broke an bummy an her uggs were trash .... maybe that's why they so angry ... they just stylist for Walmart ... lol Im a law student an drove to the keys to buy a house ... I don't clock in Walmart is NOT for me .... an to top it all off the big ballerina put on a pink clown wig before she left to go to the club ...oh lord ...she went from ballerina to mrs piggy ... with no shower!! Thank you to my stylist .... bernidat she doesn't deserve to be in there with them night walkers ... with the faces on a mother could love ;)

received my root touch up but not the allover color part but was charged for it? she charged me 10 dollars extra for extra color and did not mix more color? she half blow dried my hair and charged me 20 dollars extra i had no problem paying extra only if i actually got it done really?? a higher end salon i spend less and are treated well and don't have to hear how she makes no money there Tiffany on Tomisville rd and kerry forest I wont be back to see you this is poor business practices and disrespecting the craft if your going to do hair do it correctly and honestly shame on you!

I don't think so. This person who cut my friend's hair was the most impersonal, incompetent human being on the planet. She said she has been cutting hair for 9 years but sure wasn't professional about it. I think they are overpriced too. The bill for a man's haircut was about $35 for clean cut. This was a bad cut. When we got home, my friends neck area was patchy real bad and it wasn't shaved straight. I woulnd't waste your money on this shop, of course we got a doozy...

So I go for a haircut today because my mop was out of control, and I get home and start playing around with it, look in the back and there's a bald spot near the top/ back!! They're giving me a free haircut when I go again but wtf do I do in the meantime??? I've never been so flabbergasted in all my life after a haircut. I'm so pissed and embarrassed I have no idea what to do. Has that happened to anyone else? Omg just shoot me now. She was so sweet and detailed with the rest of the cut, how did this happen? And why did she let me leave like that?
