SmartStyle Hair Salon in Broken Arrow, OK

I'm not the type of person to write a review but I hope I can save someone else from disappointment Had an appointment with Fran for 3:30 it got pushed back to 4:15 because she was behind was only needing a trim and style for my graduation she cut my hair first ( shorter than I asked) then washed it when she got a phone call around 4:30 for personal issues at 5:00 I was still setting in her chair with wet hair and had to leave because I had to be at my graduation by 6:00. She was still on the phone when checking  me out and charged me full price for the style I didn't get, I just paid and got out of there I'd never been so upset by such unprofessionalism in my life.

Another bad experience at this location.
Had an appointment to color cut and style ive had to wait1hour and half just for color. Still waiting.

If you go here do not see Marcelo.  Completely unsatisfied with cut.  I feel he needs more training.  I asked for  layers, he layered it all right 3 distinct layers, and uneven layers at that. If you do not know how to layer say so or get someone that does. I feel with more practice on a dummy head, and training on consultation he might may a good stylist.  But he was who they put me off on.

I wouldn't even give them one star! So upset! I hate having my hair cut as it is. So it is Mother's Day and visiting my aunt here in Oklahoma. We were running around and getting errands done. I wanted to get a trim for my hair to look healthy. I honestly cannot remember who cut my hair other than she had short black hair. She chopped the hell out of my hair and cut off 3 inches at least! I asked for 1! I ended up bawling my eyes out after I left and went to another salon. Where this girl fixed my hair. Not only was it uneven I had some kind of a damn tail!!! Now my hair is a lot shorter than I wanted it to be. Still in tears about it. The girl at the other salon asked me. Did someone in your family cut your hair? I told her the truth no some lady from here did. Thank you for ruining my stay in Oklahoma! You do not know how to cut hair! Learn! It should not have looked like it came out of a chop shop. My aunt paid you a decent tip too! To everyone out there, don't learn the way I did if you like your long locks. :'(

I am ONLY giving one star because I have to in order or my review to post.  I WISH I could give ZERO stars.

I was visiting with my sister in Broken Arrow and needed to get a hair cut while she was getting the oil changed in her car. I told the girl to use the #3 guard on the back and trim over the ears and not take too much off the top. The next thing I knew she had used the clippers on the back of my head and started over the ears with the clippers. I told her not to go too short but be sure she blended the hair. When I told her it was too short she made the comment, "You said to use the #3 guard on the  back and trim over the ears didn't you?"  I said yes. She still continued cutting. When  I told her she was not to cut it any shorter she said she was trying to blend it all in. I told her to trim the hair off of my neck that she was done.I was so angry. I now have the hair cut of a man. I keep my hair short and it still took her 45 minutes to really screw it up. I do not know her name. When my sister asked my to look on my receipt I realized I did not have one. I would DEFINETLY NOT recommend this business to anyone or their dog!
