Management issues-Watch for hidden fees on your receipt. Unexpected "scale fee" for the weight of your hair color. Shouldn't that be explained before hand or just roll it into the service. Also undisclosed fee to use a credit card. On top of the increasing service fees. Additionally you may be paying for a higher end stylist who is training a new cosmetologist which if I wanted to pay for a trainee I'd go to a cosmetology school salon.
I first encountered AfterFX Salon at the Tulsa Wedding Show. I was so excited to have met them, as their prices were extremely affordable and they seemed to be the perfect match for my bridal makeup. However, I have yet to be able to get in touch with anyone to book. I have attempted calling them twice, once being told that someone on the bridal side of the salon would get in touch with me. I have sent numerous emails and inquiries, and my MIL called and was also told that someone would be in touch. It has been over 3 weeks since the show and I have not heard back from anyone. Highly disappointed, as I was fully ready to give them my business. Now I would be too concerned to book with them in fear that I would be ghosted at my wedding.
