I have been going to Lisa at SkyeBlu Salon since we moved here six years ago. To say I am happy here is an understatement. My hair was in horrible shape when I first started going to her. She has literally transformed my hair. It has never been so healthy and I love the color and style. Lisa always knows what I want and is great with suggestions for me. I cannot say enough good things about the staff. It is such a fun, friendly atmosphere and I love my "hair days". I highly recommend the salon I would never go anywhere else.

Such a bad experience. The negative talk about politics and COVID that the employees were engaging in made me very uncomfortable. The service was mediocre at best and I had to go back to my usual salon to have them fix my hair cut (lots of uneven patches). Oh, well- at least hair grows back. Right?

I have seen Lisa!! She is amazing. I went down there for vacation with one of my girlfriends from school and we decided to come here. Not only was this salon so welcoming but it was SO cute. It reminded me of a boutique in a way, which i loved sooo much. The entire staff was so sweet, it all felt very personal, and I left there with my hair looking so amazing. Lisa also recommended products to me, to keep my hair a nice cool toned blond, and a few weeks later it is still looking amazing. I will definitely be back when visiting the area !!

I am new to the area and have been searching for a good stylist. After receiving a recommendation I received from a lady I met at a Nail salon, I opted to schedule an appointment to have my hair colored and cut by Lori Kratofil at SkyeBlu. Per the recommendation, she was new to the area, but not to fret because she owned her own salon in Tallahassee prior to moving here. Taking them at their word I figured I couldn't go wrong. Now we've all had a minor goof up now and then, but I've never experienced anything to the level of this color job that turned out worse then one would expect from a cosmetology student! I took in a picture (on the left) of a beautiful rose gold hue with highlights that I had done previously. Lori voiced that she didn't care for the color, that it was an unnatural color, and swayed me to change my mind. Instead we agreed on highlights with copper low lights. After stopping in the middle of my cut to shampoo and blow dry someone else's hair, we continued and finished the process. I was mortified with her finished product and let her know I didn't like the striped look she had given me. She took me back to the shampoo bowl and did something to the brightest stripe, but it was still horrendous (pictured right). At this point it was 9 PM and I was exhausted and upset so told her I would sleep on it and see if I felt differently the next day. The next day I still hated it so I sent her a message letting her know that I didn't like the stripes. She first suggested that I go to her house and let her fix it there. I was not comfortable with that idea at all and opted to return to the salon. Due to the discomfort I felt about her requesting I go to her house, I contacted the salon owner to tell her what was going on. She was very apologetic and stated that Lori is new to using their line of products which is probably what the problem was. She stated that she would be there during the "fix" though I was hoping she would fix it herself. She gave a lot of verbal input during the fix, but by the end of the fix, I still had stripes, they were just darker colored...more the colors you would see on a calico cat. Both Lori and the owner seemed surprised that I didn't like the fix, but there was still no blending and I looked like a calico cat!! The first night of the color job, the communication between myself and Lori was great!! We had so much in common and had lived in the same town once upon a time, so we had a lot to talk about! The night of the fix was completely opposite however. The first thing out of Lori's mouth as she walked me to her chair was "I don't like the color either". During the entire fix she said no more than 5 words to me. She would go to the back and talk to other people instead. Then she was very rough with the shampooing, brushing and drying of my hair. Completely opposite of the night before. She then started straightening my hair and commenced with the rough aggressive manner when I finally stopped her and told her I was finished with her. I pointed out to her and the salon owner that the color was still terrible, and that now I'm dealing with attitude filled body language and rough treatment of my head. I also told the owner about Lori telling me she didn't like the color either to which she suddenly got amnesia and claimed to not remember saying it!! I told them both that a true professional would not let a client leave their salon if even they didn't like their work! Any real professional would have known just how screwed up this color job was!! The owner asked what she could do to make it right to which I told her at this point the only thing would be to give me a refund so I can go to someone to fix this mess!!

Visited 30A on vacation and needed some highlights stat! Made an appointment with Neisha West and she did a great job! I will definitely be back to see her when I am back in the area. She is a sweetheart and worked to make sure I was happy with my hair!
