A wonderful experience with a true hair artist.. Just being in Jennifer's Salon makes you feel comfortable and welcomed..but add Jennifer as the stylist you truly get top notch service. She listens, she recommends and she explains every step of your hair treatment. And I just love that you are her focus for the whole time you are there and no other distractions like you get at most salons... Highly recommend JA Salon!!!

Happy to be a part of this beautiful salon membership. The space is absolutely stunning and every guest I bring to JA Studios is highly impressed. Each member at JA Studios is highly continuous of Covid-19 safety precautions from masks to sanitization and the space it's self feels like a get away from all that's troublesome in the world.

I moved to the city 4 years ago and only recently had the courage to find a hairdresser here after being traumatized by a terrible haircut back in college. I would literally fly back to Atlanta just to get my hair cut. I found his salon online and I went in for a hair consultation with Koby before I let him cut my hair and he talked about how he would cut it and what he wouldn't do (I wanted to make sure he wouldn't cut it the way that other hairdresser did). He immediately noticed important things about how my hair works and he recommended I try his own shampoo product. I thought he was joking when he said he makes it himself but he really does! It's called Shem. I admit at first my hair was just really oily for a week, but then it adjusted and now my hair looks and feels amazing! It has texture and body it did not before in a really good way. I was so impressed by his consultation and his shampoo that I went back to actually get my hair cut. The haircut is fabulous!!! I got my haircut a week before my bachelorette and EVERYONE came up to me INDIVIDUALLY (including a sister who doesn't even care to wear makeup or do her hair) and said how amazing my hair looked. I'm so happy I finally found someone in New York and I feel really good about his abilities as a hairdresser and an artist. He balances listening to what you want but also suggesting new things really well. I'm chopping off my hair post wedding as well and can't wait to see how he gives me a fresh new look! Note: I found and made appointments with Koby through his alibi salon website, which is easy to use and book an appointment. When I called JA 5 separate times when trying to make my first haircut appointment, I sat on hold for 20 minutes with no answer. I was very disappointed by JA's lack of service given it is such an upscale salon, but Koby was super quick to respond when contacted directly. I recommend contacting him through alibi's website instead of JA.

Was my first time being hired to photograph here. Beautiful location and spot! Very professional employees who love and care about what they do. This celebration was an amazing one that celebrated their hard work and how they care about the establishment Highly recommended!

I met jennifer 4 yrs ago when I decided to go from being a Brunette to Bleach Blonde. It was a huge change and I was a bit nervous and needed someone I could trust. I did some research and ended up finding the wonderful & talented Jennifer Albert. She not only made me feel at ease INSTANTLY but she walked me through the entire process and I felt reassured everything would be fine. Sure enough, when my cut & color were complete, I fell in love with my look as well as Jennifer. Since then we have done many fun looks together (short hair, Long hair, blonde, caramel, auburn, etc..) and I can truly trust her with anything! I basically just show up, she gets to work and I get to leave looking fabulous! I always receive millions of compliments from strangers and have been stopped on the street many times because of her work. Every look she has ever created for me is not just flawless but also natural looking. She is incredibly professional, and the best colorist I have ever gone to. But it goes beyond that, she is caring and kind and you know when you are with her you are in good hands. Her studio is gorgeous and when you go you want to stay there ALL day! Her products are the best on the market in my opinion and I swear they have cured my psoriasis. : ) My recommendation - If you haven't made an appt yet, you are missing out so book today!!!
