With all the poor reviews, I was hesitant to go here. But a friend said they were good, so I went by for a mani and pedi before leaving on my cruise. Nathan did a great job taking care of me. Good job on both mani and pedi. Also great conversation throughout.
I only get pedicures and they do an okay job. some are better than others. Living here 12 years , I have only used this salon, except for maybe twice. I'm not going back, getting a little sick of this cash tips please. I have to go out of my way to make sure I have cash on me, usually don't, to satisfy their wants? How about pay your share of taxes, And it's not only this place. I found another salon, which I actually like better , that accommodates their clients off topic, Then the one's asking for tips, Jerimias Icecream, Wendy's, Really ? Tip them for taking my order? I'm done
The last couple times I've been there to get a pedicure they've done a horrible job, so much that right after my pedicure I was asked by a friend "When are you getting a pedicure?" Been going there on and off for 3 years, but I think last week's pedicure will be my last... He barely cut any skin or cuticle around my toes, surely didn't clean under my nails, nails were still jagged from not cutting or filing them properly and my leg rub was 2-3 minutes at most... oh and let's not mention my heels... they were just as rough as when I went in.... I don't recommend this place... I'm looking for a new place to go...
Warning. My mother in law decided to treat herself to a manicure for the holidays. Within two hours the nail gel literally slid off her nails. When she called to complain and to make an appointment to repair the damaged nails she was treated rudely by management and was told your technician is not in. We can't help you today. The second day she called back and was met with the same obnoxious attitude and refusal to fix her nails. On the third day she went directly to the establishment and demanded repairs. She was given a new manicure. Within six hours three nails are totally bare. Do not waste your time and money on this place. It's a shame that this service establishment shows poor attitude and low quality work and charges top dollar for the hassle.
My rating is mainly based On the very rude owner that I believe his name is Ken he is the most obnoxious person I've met owning a business I moved to Ocala three years ago in and was recommended to try them because they're close to On Top Of The World. Several times I made appointment but still had to wait at least 30 minutes for them to start my nails I've made appointments and also was told that I didn't have an appointment when I showed up if you they were too busy no apologies just rude saying you have a new appointment and that's it I don't recommend them
