Sky Nails in North Huntingdon, PA

Ever since I moved to the North Huntington area and I first found Sky Nails and I have never gone anyplace else for my manicures and my pedicures for any special occasions, birthdays, holidays or any trips that we go on. I always book an appointment at Sky Nails. My favorite technician just happens to be a young lady by the name of T she's able to reproduce anything I've created in my mind and paint it right onto my nails, even when I got remarried on March 29, Memorial Day of 2022 she did my wedding nails and pedicure, she does everything to perfection. She's like an artist, every time as I I'm everyone is. so amazed at the work she does even as I leaving the nail salon the other people who are getting their nails done want to I take to a photo of my nails, because they've never seen anything like the nail designs she's done on me before . I have so many photos of the nails that she's done for me she just does such an amazing job. I guess just have to look at the pictures because of picture like they say tells 1000 words.And finally, all the staff is so friendly and helpful, the place looks very clean especially their nail salon equipment, and they book you around your schedule, so great having a Nail Salon in our area that's so competent.

I have never left this place without my fingers bleeding and in pain. I had a technician drill through my nail plate, not address the issue/ visible pain i was in, and simply put acrylic over the cut open nail. The techs are usually hit or miss. I have had some good work, but i've also had some of the worst work. Overall, if you like the place go for it, but i wouldn't recommend going if you're looking for a new nail place.

The woman who did my nails was very angry. I thought that's okay because I was tired and didn't feel like talking anyway. But when she asked me questions, she couldn't bother to speak loud enough so I could hear her and got annoyed when I kept having to ask her to repeat herself. She literally cut my cuticles so they were bleeding. She said oops sorry and laughed and then rubbed something into them which made it hurt even worse. I can see she's done this before because somebody else left the same review on Yelp. I thought it was only one or two cuts until I got in my car where it was light out and I could see every one of them is cut. I did get a refund, but I can't do my work because every time I bump my cuticles they hurt very badly and bleed.

I have had a bad experience almost every time I have come here. I have had to wait for hours here, and I have been cut several times. My nails have not been terrible, but they havent been great either. The customer service is sub par and I feel very uncomfortable because of the vibe here.

I asked for a full set of acrylics. Whenever I ask that they understand and give me a full set and a polish. Not today. I usually go with mike here but he wasn't there today so I was with a different lady. I didn't catch her name. I asked her a few times for a regular full set and she gave me solar. I asked when she brought out the powders and she reassured me saying she knew. So I let her do her job. I ended up being charged $57 for $32 nails. She cut my hands repeatedly and laughed as she said sorry. I showed her a picture(2nd below) she said she would try. I told her if you can't I have a simpler one and she said she could. Throughout the process she began to tell me she couldn't do certain things and I couldn't go back. First it was the wrong color completely then she didn't have the matching polish for the design which I asked for originally and she said yes. Then she couldn't make them matte and the design is sloppy and the lines aren't straight. My advice: don't give them your business. This was my one last time going here in attempts it would be better. Never again
