Got my second haircut by Sara here, and nothing but rave reviews. Not only did she cut my curls into a super flattering shape, she didn't remove more hair than I was willing to part with! She listens to what you want and asks for feedback as she moves along, somehow both super confident and super teachable/humble at the same time. She's also a great conversationalist so the time flies by so fast. Highly recommend giving them a try!

I purchased a Groupon for color and a haircut for $39. I was told when I called to schedule that I may be charged an extra $25.00 if extra color would be needed for my hair. I agreed and made the appointment with Tracy. I ended up being charged an extra $50.00. There was nothing special done to my hair that I was made aware of, no foils, highlights, etc. It is a simple brownish red color that they were able to match to a swatch. It was basically a root touch-up, as my hair is already that color. It was not explained that there was anything extra being done other than adding some "drops" to bring out the red more for an extra $5.00 which I agreed to. My hair is medium length, just past my shoulders. It has long layers that needed to be trimmed and evened out, nothing complicated, but when trying to style my hair the day after my appointment I noticed my layers are even more uneven then when they cut it, so much so that I will have to have it cut again to fix the layering. So with the extra charges that seem to have no basis and the bad hair cut, I called them. Jill, who initially told me about the possible $25.00 extra charge and scheduled my appointment, answered and told me that she didn't really know what the extra charges would be when she mentioned the $25.00. She said she would have the owner call me to discuss it with me and at this point I am waiting to hear from her. I'll keep you posted on that.

I recieved a groupon as a gift and this is one of the best reflexology and Sweedish massage I've ever had!! Working on cruise ships I've definitely been spoiled with good massage therapists, but Allison here at Shear Perfection is top notch! The spa itself was clean the music was soothing they abided very well to Covid rules and restriction! Currently no one else is in there so it was extra quiet. Will be booking again, you won't reagret it!

Dated interior. Minimal and inconsequential product lines. Stylist was nice enough but obviously comfortable with small town basic technique. Zero familiarity with current trend. The staff needs advanced technique classes and overall more education. Zero product recommendation during the service and anything used, when asked, was not available for purchase. Owner did not wear a mask when in close proximity to customers. Would not recommend.

I had a terrible experience at this salon. I came in as a new client requesting blonde ombre Balayage coloring in my naturally light brown hair. I provided the stylist 6 similar photos showing her exactly what I wanted and I explained to her why I wanted those things; to hide the gray around my face and for low maintenance. The stylist told me her whole life story which included several stressful situations that she was currently in the middle of. The she left in the middle of coloring my hair and someone else had to finish it. Needless to say it came out orange all over. The next morning I called in and the daughter of the owner was nice enough to reschedule me to have it fixed for free. After the stylist pushed my new appointment back a half an hour, she showed up late. In an attempt to fix my hair she turned it brassy yellow all over. I received no blonde highlights around my face or in the ends, as I had requested, nor did I keep my naturally brown roots as is customary for ombre balayage. She dyed my hair yellow the whole way to the roots. Her attempts at a very trendy hair coloring style failed miserably both times. I just don't feel she had the skills and she should have stated so when I made my request. Not only was the hair coloring terrible, the customer service was worse. Per industry standards I gave the salon very speedy notice of my displeasure and gave them the opportunity to fix it. After they failed twice I no longer trusted their skill set and requested a $156 refund. The owner adamantly and very rudely refused to give me my money back. She values money over customer service and her reputation. Now I can't afford to have it fixed.
