I have been coming to have my hair cut with Patricia for a long time.
I called for an appointment and she told me if I could come in at 6:30 she could take me.  This is the 2nd time I've come in with short notice, and each tiime has been a RUSHED  haircut.

As before, she started using eleciric barber sheers.   I stopped her immediatley and told her I wanted a siccors cut.
"Well, let me finish the other side."  Yet continued to use the sheers. I had to agian tell her again not  to use the electric sheeres.
She only used sicciors to cut the the top of my hair.
I looked like Beaver Cleaver when I left.
Will NEVER use her again.
Make sure she understands exactly what you want. And don't be her last customer . . .

Careful which stylist you choose, mine was unreliable and didn't show up for the appointment.

Very clean and cozy cute salon, stylish shampoo bowl but only thing makes me confuse the address of salon there are not in pearl Kai anymore, the new location is in Mery Savior Medical Building #102 Aiea.

My mom has been going to Myra for as long as I can remember, gotta be at least 35 years altho that can't be possible because are we really that old!? Noooooooo. She always used to bring us to see Myra when we were little too and I remember I used to love coming with her to the hair dresser.

Shear Genius used to be at pearl kai shopping center but they are now located across the street from Times supermarket on kaahumanu avenue. I have not seen Myra in YEARS (maybe like 20 something years) but needed to badly cut my hair a few months ago and mom told me go see her! So I did and seriously, I had the best haircut I have had in foreverrrr. She layered my hair so good and there were lots and lots of layers just how I like it!!!! I was so happy!! And I was so happy to reconnect with Myra. She was just the same as she was the last time I saw her. Bubbly, talkative and happy, just like I remembered!

Today I am back with my mom for another haircut. I used to get my hair cut once a year but now that I've found Myra again, I'm definitely taking care of my hair and getting it trimmed more often! This is definitely my new place to come to get my hair done! Reasonable prices, super clean salon, great location, and friendly people!

Theresa has been doing my mother's hair for over 20 years and does a very good job. She and the rest of the ladies are kind and considerate. Be advised they moved to Mary Savio Medical Building at 98-1247 Kaahumanu St., across from Stuart Anderson.
