The salon, however, seemed a little dirty (hair all over the floor of my seat...and we hadn't even begun to cut mine yet) and out-dated with inspirational Home Goods signs on the walls.

Got my hair flat ironed here today. I don't remember the hairstylists name but I think she had pink hair? Anyways, it felt very rushed, like there was no effort, barely (if any) heat protectant, didn't even brush out my head of hair, sectioned my hair really lazily, and in the end it could've been much straighter. Also costed $70 which is way too overpriced. You're better off doing your hair at ulta, will be going there from now on (they're also much cheaper)
I loved the way Gloria did my hair this is before and after pictures. It is expensive but worth it. Gloria took her time made me feel special I can't say enough about her. When you first meet the person who will be doing your hair they take you to a room where you take your top off and you are given a cape so nothing gets on your clothes. This is after covid where I was not going anywhere.
I have been going to Regis Salon since the pandemic. The hair stylist that I like, Mel, had started working there and I had followed her from her previous salon. Regis has a great atmosphere and the staff makes you feel welcomed right when you check in. Mel is fantastic! I have naturally curly hair and it is really hard to find someone who can cut and style curly hair. I love the color that I pi ked out. Mel gave great suggestions and advice when I wanted to give red highlights a try. I am very happy with my results. I highly recommend!
I live in California and I don't have a regular stylist in Hawaii when I visit, but when I looked in the mirror this morning, I knew I needed a hair intervention. It's scary having someone you don't know color and cut your hair, but I had the great fortune of Jodi working on my hair. She is an excellent communicator. She showed me a number of hair color swatches and took the time to make sure we both knew which color was best for me. She quoted me a price before she got started so there were no billing surprises. I also greatly appreciated how kind Jodi is--I know I haven't been taking care of my hair and she never made me feel embarrassed about that. Jodi is so fun and easy to talk to, too! I went into the salon feeling like death warmed over and praying for a decent color and cut, and left feeling and looking incredible!! The color was perfect, the cut flattering, and my hair felt soft. I'm so grateful to have met Jodi today! If you don't already have a talented hair stylist you love, I highly recommend Jodi.
