I have enjoyed going here the few times I have over the past years. I used to go to a specific person, then moved away and back again.
I had a student, Tiny, this last time and enjoyed her work. She asked a lot of questions, consulted her teachers when in doubt or wanting assistance. The cut was what I wanted so I am pleased.
Plus I enjoy the décor and how easy it is when I have to bring one of my kids with me.
They treat my 3 year old like a princess when she comes in. They take the time to wash her hair, style it and tell her it's beautiful. If people do this in their line of service, that shows the best customer service. I fully recommend Shear Fire. Great staff, great owner, and truly great services and prices that are fair and don't charge an arm and a leg. Best in the Valley
had the most traumatic and humiliating experience, can honestly say I will never return to this salon or maybe any salon. They amplified and even joked about all my insecurities and did not make me feel comfortable at all.
Just got highlights and a trim from Maddy at the Palmer location. She did an AMAZING job!! I have very thick hair and my natural color is pretty dark and she went above and beyond anything I was expecting. All of the ladies there were so friendly and helpful. The owner Jana is wonderful. I love the interior design of the salon as well, I did not even feel like I was in Alaska!! It's so cool!! Will definitely be going back! Thank you Maddy and thank you Shear Fire!!
Stylist was unable to preform service because she hadn't the skill for what I wanted. Majority of employees are not listened at wasilla location and all I need to say is I should have listened to the majority of people that told me this was a sucky salon.
